Endless Isolation

I cannot in good faith recommend this game for anyone, if you like indie horror there are much better games you could play. The animations and sound effects are generally pretty bad. Random "jumpscares" that are unnecessarily loud. The voice acting is hilariously bad at times (although the voice acting being bad adds some charm sometimes in a weird way). The game lacks simple things such as rebinding your keys, or a proper fov slider (fov slider only goes up to 70). I'd be able to look past this all if the game was actively being fixed but based on my short experience providing extensive feedback to this game's developer and seeing how he has pretty much ignored/not addressed any of that feedback, released the game in a broken state... yea don't buy this game there are cheaper games that are much better like nightmare of decay :) Sidenote: Its kind of funny that this game is a "classic survival horror from the psx era" when this game plays worse than the majority of the psx survival horror games lol

I haven't played through the game in its entirety yet. However, I love the art style, the story, and the atmosphere of an infested apartment. Best of all, they got the reload animation right on the pistol! Great game thus far.

Extremely poor, unfortunately. It's very unpolished and the combat is very boring, lots of bugs.

Just not a really good game. Shooting enemies isn't fun. Neither is the stealth mechanic. There are at least 15 other survival horror FPS game that do a much better job. I just can't recommend this one. 3/10

Searrching for an old-school-Survival-Horror-inspired experience that tuely conjures the atmosphere of that old games? "Endless Isolation" might be the best choice you get at the moment. I truely fell into love with the game, and arriving at Chapter 4 now, I feel that it's about ime to share my opinion. + retro aesthetics that truely hit the spot, with different environments you get to explore + weapons that feel satisfying in every moment, with a lot of ammunition picking, spending every bullet wisely, and gunshots that feel heavy and effective. And I can't get enough of the pistol reloading animation that gives me the feeling of being armed :) + exploration and puzzle solving the old way: find a key, unlock a door, solving a puzzle, getting a note to another, and finally reach the end of the Chapter - its rewarding "Endless Isolation" plays and feels very balanced and well done. And - a little recommendation - I advice to die sometimes in the game, because some of the end-of-life-animations really feel old-school-horror-movie :) Can't wait to start again right in the game and experiencing Chapter 4 in that creepy hospital after a surprising and fresh car driving sequence!

not bad I can tell this dev's first real game with some of the jank in it but once you understand mechanics of the guns and enemies it becomes more of a puzzle then anything else but still not bad at all. I also really like how the enemies burst though the walls instead them just getting stuck behind a waist high hole in the wall that was a nice touch definitely caught me by surprise first time. I hope dev will continue to improve with their next game.
