About EOS 27
EOS 27 is a 2D, strategic action-platformer in which you overtake your enemies through both careful planning and tight fighting. Carefully design an arena tailored to your enemy, then put it to the test in an epic, fast-paced fight for the sake of humankind.
Crashed on an unknown planet, you only know one thing: Take down its forcefield. But robot guardians stand between you and the generators.
Observe: Study your robot enemies and find their weaknesses. Plan out your strategy to defeat them with the tools you have at your disposal.
Prepare: Design the arena you'll fight your opponent in. Craft your arena with platforms and eight unlockable, customizable addons that can boost your firepower, mobility and control over the fight. Equip your character with the upgrades and ammunition best fit for the fight.
Fight: Strategizing is only half the fight. Dodge and weave between waves of projectiles, fire back, and slash those robots down in fast-paced fights.
The flow and direction of each fight is unique for every player. It's up to you to decide how to conquer this planet.

EOS 27 is one of literally thousands of retro 2D platformers infesting Steam and lowering the average quality of all video games everywhere... and I'm not kidding. Searching for "platformers" on the Steam store page yields over 17,000 results! Is this one of the best of those? Absolutely not. This action/precision platformer hybrid has you doing a bit of dodging and a bit of precision jumping... but the overall quality here would look bad if this was launched in 1992... and today, wow, this is just bad. Platforming is an old, mostly dead genre, and this lacklustre experience, while it doesn't have an upfront cost, isn't saving the genre... it's no surprise this failed to capture any attention from gamers in the era of immersive 3D gaming. This features really godawful pixelcrap/MS-paint "art" instead of real graphics. It's hard to say if this was because the developer didn't have the skill to do the job of creating 3D visuals, or couldn't afford to hire someone who does, but it also doesn't matter. What matters is that this looks much worse than most other games because of that decision, and that's a major deterrent to gamers. Games like Terraria and Stardew Valley succeed…2 found this helpful

It is basically Terraria but only the arena building and bossfight. It is fairly short and it is free! (the best price) The bosses are challenging enough that you need to at least put some effort to your arena building to beat The controls took a while to get used to though. It felt like you're constantly slipping on ice And I wish there is a way to zoom out the screen when fighting bosses Also, quite high system requirement for a simple 2D game and in my experience will sometimes crash if you play on a low end computer1 found this helpful
Nice simple pixel story of two people trying to get off planet. I think this was simple and thought out mechanics are good, level up skills to take down enemies with some skill required and effort. I think this is completeable. And single player. ANd a story plot that explains why there is no voice acting.
Before I played EOS 27, I had a small pp, no friends, no gf, depression, and no life. These things havent changed, but the game is pretty good
