If I hate one feature of an RPG it is: if you level up so do your enemies. The second most hated part is: Equipment that wears out....and not enough repair kits to counter that. That said this game is rather dull. There is no big story. Your char just jumps into an dungeon and than gets the order to visit other dungeons.... Yes, it is an retro RPG but even back than some more story was given (even the usual...You must save the WORLD).5 found this helpful

Unfortunately, scaling enemies hammers the difficulty curve into a flat line while at the same time making any progression systems meaningless. As the story and world-building are nigh non-existent, there isn't much left in the game to enjoy.

Forgot why I bought this game. Maybe I was craving for some classic RPG experiences, but as far as I remember, nothing in this game stands out enough for me to keep playing. The story is basically nonexistent, the battles are boring and painful, and the graphics are unremarkable. Btw my play time was exactly 119 mins. Funny.
