Spent most of my time trying to remember which identical looking door and identical looking room to back track to to click on things to see if they'd changed. Stopped after realizing I had to do a lot of backtracking and so most of my interaction was dealing with bad interior design. Game doesn't cost much in dollars, but it does cost time. I wouldn't recommend, but I have low tolerance for games that I feel waste my time.

This game looked really cool, and incorporated metroidvania aspects very well. I didn't really understand the story too much, but thats prolly because its very late rn and im tired. Im sure there given a deep dive, there is plenty to look over, although maybe on their next game the devs could be a bit more direct in the story. Either that or im just slow :)

This is the dark souls of weird walking sims: you get 3 lines of dialogue from which you need to construct the entire plot. There is also no indication that the plot even really exists, most games like this give you some grounding and leave the interesting bits for later. You start and end with nothing. Someone will one day come out with the 4 hour lore video, but it won't be me. The platforming is fine, I guess? Buy it if you are interested, because 3 bucks is barely anything, but you'd get a similar experience looking at 3 random sentences of your favorite other media and trying to spin something coherent out of them while building a minecraft house.

"EPONYMOUS - In Which A Work Is Known By Its Reading" is a really short (under 1 hour) first-person experimental adventure where you traverse a digital simulation while being monitored and spoken to by an administrative. Something soon feels offs as blurred glitches appear and you begin to question what it really is that you are experiencing. The sound is well done and the atmosphere manages to scratch an itch of uncannyness, but it is too short and too elusive to create a bigger impact than that in my opinion.
And they really went all the way being postmodern and meta with the reference guide at the end - referring to "House of Leaves", which is frankly the most terrifiing work of postmodern horror!
Still worth the experience for it is quite unique!
