✦ AI summary
Players consistently praise the game's exceptional writing, music, and artistic direction, with the soundtrack by Lena Raine being particularly highlighted as a standout element. The main caveat is that this is fundamentally a text-heavy visual novel experience rather than a gameplay-focused title, so it's best suited for players who enjoy reading and don't mind a slower-paced, narrative-driven experience.
It's neat to see a story-driven game (a VN? would I call it that? not sure) that experiments on such a fundamental level with the mode through which you interact it. The story was confusing in an interesting way, driven by nostalgia and identity in a way that felt, to an extent, intentionally unresolvable, in a manner that was thematically compelling.
the setting, the music, the writing, everything about this game is a gem. this is always the first game i recommend to ppl wanting to play a visual novel. definitely recommend skipping the review section and going in blind
incredibly captivating story. wish I could go back and experience it all again for the first time.
Fun game, it's more of a book with music and some visuals though. Quite interesting, do recommend if you feel like reading a lot. Nice soundtrack too, Lena Raine cooked with this (It's why I started playing the game in the first place.)
I'm probably not the biggest visual novel player out there but I still loved the game's music, art, writing, feel etc. It was a great experience overall. Try it out !
amazing auditory and visual experience. there are some particular moments of powerful consonance paired with sprawling imagery that'll be stuck in my mind. excellent read if you like pondering about consciousness and identity and expression, im very happy i took the time to check it out -^-
