✦ AI summary

Players praise the game's core concept and controls, with some finding the side missions and exploration elements enjoyable, but many criticize the story mode for wildly inconsistent difficulty spikes where missions feel either trivial or impossibly unfair with limited strategic options. Recent updates have also frustrated players with mandatory hold-to-press menu controls, intrusive visual shaders, and louder sound effects that some find physically uncomfortable, while the roguelike structure suffers from repetitive mission design and predictable outcomes across playthroughs.

Another example of butchering what makes a genre. This game gets both RTS and RogueLIKE/rogueLITE wrong. Story mode is honestly god awful. Same missions that are either a cakewalk, or a death sentence where no matter how hard you try, you will just get obliterated as all you are given is a capital ship with barely any combat capabilities and a single fighter that can barely provide any fire support, while you are fighting at least 4 ships each more than capable to destroy you alone. And there isn't an option to buy any other ships aside from more fighters taht are barely any help. After dying on one 'easy' mission 4 times i've explored other options, and those missions are straight up filler content. And out of 5-6 playthroughs i had the exact same content and the exact same outcome as the "random" prizes for said missions barely make any difference in your playthrough. Controls are pretty bad as well. My PC runs much heavier games with ease and when the entire game experiences microstrokes each time i try to use the voice commands it is irritating, not to mention how awkward it is having to stare at my wrist and not at the action while giving commands is honestly bad and disrup…

Dont be fooled by reviews. This game is very clunky and downright boring. Luckily I got it on sale.

Really impressed so far. Reminds me a lot of BattleGroup VR. I would say there are some dialog where because the audio doesn't work for all I'd remove them. The admiral for instance only says one thing, over, over, and over again. :( I also like the side missions, scanning, finding damaged ships, etc... Nice little filler.
