When looking at the game I personally don't think it looks like a bad game necessarily, so long as its gameplay holds up... but it doesn't. One of the things I first noticed is how slow paced this game is. When I think of a space shooter or game where I command a fleet, I don't exactly think "fast paced action" but this isn't really either of those, just a holographic projection where you control what your fleet does. If you were to think about buying this game, it would probably only be due to its strategic gameplay. In my opinion though, the AI quite a bit gets in the way of that, as it seems to either be broken in some situations and will flat out not do what you tell it to do, or do extremely simple commands- one at a time usually. Even if the AI worked exactly as I expected and wanted it to however, there's still the issue of strategy. The main issue I have with it is that it's usually easy to exploit by just simply using the best ships - the bombers. The main capital ships I typically never had to worry about but if you just went with the best ships, you win. Really, it's that easy. I wish there was a Neutral recommendation for games on steam. As I do not really recommend nor not recommend this game. It has it's own charms and is interesting to see a game with offering for two different VR headsets as well as a non-VR version. Something I wish all VR games would offer as I do not have a VR headset so missing out on quite a few of these games that look really awesome. I get that without VR some of these would be bad or simplistic to play but honestly I would find quite a few of them more entertaining if it offered a traditional movement system compared to VR system only. This game in particular however does have some flaws in it for the non-VR version that I think overall I would have to say not recommend but the issues I have with the game may not be a problem at all for VR players. - Different Executables for Different VRs, ran into an issue where I ran the VR version because Steam stopped offering me a selection and it caused the game to run the VR version which caused other issues. - The Text for units and other descriptions in this game are extremely hard to read with camera placements on the non-VR version.
