About Everything I Know, and Everything I'm Ever Gonna Know

...this is Everything I Know, and Everything I'm Ever Gonna Know, a small modern visual novel about the hardships of young adulthood, failed relationships, and baseball(?!?) in the modern world.

Meet Icarus!

Icarus, our lasagna loving hero, finds himself on a chunk of land that has mysteriously floated away from earth, stranding he and a cast of varied individuals who must pause their lives for a brief period of romance and rumination.

Play ball..

How you perform in baseball determines the confidence level of your avatar, Icarus, allowing alternative exploration of the subject matter. But don't worry! This novel will give you the leniency to improve:)

..with playing cards???

If baseball is causing you to struggle, you can update your deck of modifier cards, as these will allow affect various parameters in the mini game!

The Abominable Piggy.

There is a hideous, horrible pig in this novel.

Dynamic Mechanics!

While reading text will be your primary interaction, Everything I Know, and Everything I'm Ever Gonna Know is still mechanically dynamic. The mechanics you see on this page will be supplemented with additional surprises for those who look (and for those who don't as well, I suppose.)

Eclectic Characters!

Content Warning.

This is designed for a matured audience. That's not to say that I have not been intentional when covering heavy topics (religion, fornication, purpose, etc.), but this is not a novel for everyone at every stage of life. It is important to me that no one is inappropriately surprised when reading this novel... There is at least one "shock" moment, but the intent is not to sensationalize. At least, not more than is necessary for the story...

Hi.

You look very nice today.

a bizarre, unconventional hybrid of deckbuilder baseball-batting, sexual-philosophizing dating sim, and stock market manipulation wrapped in a visual novel bow. there is a lot to unpack in this hour long journey that begs you to give it another go so that you can actually hit those strikes you whiffed to unlock better(?) dialogue options. EIK,aEIEGK exudes equal parts personality, peculiarity, and pretension and i guarantee that it will resonate with a very specific audience; i am not part of that audience, but i can certainly appreciate the qualities of this evocative game.

There is no more I need to know and there is probably no more I am allowed to know, but I want to know, you know? This is a love story told through baseball, philosophy, and theology. Sometimes you make big swing and you miss, other times you make little swings and miss, mostly, if you are me, you just miss and that is okay. It's okay to miss the ball. I hope it's okay to miss the ball or I didn't play this game right. Anyways, this game needs more reviews so more people can engage and enjoy this strange story. I had a great time playing/watching/missing balls. There is also a stock market in the game - no idea what it's for or how it works. So I guess the game is also like real life as well. Worth a buy and certainly worth a play. I got the game for free so I won't give it a rating here. Give it a rating yourself.

I think this might be one the greatest mechanics I have ever encountered in a visual novel https://youtu.be/e3wsRh3Xbio

Interesting and enjoyable. [strike]Many crashes, though. The saves are frequent enough to only make it slightly annoying.[/strike] FIXED
