A short visual novel that proudly boasts that it’s been built using art and music exclusively created using generative AI. We’re asked to believe that the text itself is written by a human, but when you’ve explicitly stated that you’ve farmed out every other creative aspect of a project to something like ChatGPT, is anyone going to believe you? Now. No one cares about my opinion on AI. But I will say that the art here, clearly generated using some variation of ‘realistic pixel art’ as part of its prompt, is sh#t. Pixels often change size and shape. Resolution varies image to image. Some images appear photorealistic for no reason at all. Characters change design between frames. The music is shi#, with clear artifacting audible when the robot voice is asked to slide melismatically between notes. And the writing? However the text was generated, either by squishy man meat or silicon, it’s sh#t too.6 found this helpful
