About Evil Park

Evil Park is an atmospheric horror game, based on simulating obscure situations of distress, insecurity and anxiety. The narrative is presented in a conceptual way, and it is up to each player to interpret the events individually. There is no default protagonist. You will be in control of yourself (first person), being represented by the game. The dirty and blurry look is inspired by snuff movies and low budget classics. The gameplay follows a simple and objective line, being based on exploration, collection of items (randomized) and survival. Your enemies will be murderous hunters of humans, masked lunatics, thirsty for violence, who will do everything they can to make sure you don't escape. EP is an audiovisual focus experience, an obscure stroll in the heart of a dark, isolated and mysterious region.

Good creepy atmosphere. I was enjoying this game until I realized there was no option to save your progress. So what that means is, no matter how far you get you can't save your current progress and if you die you have to start the entire game over. Guess this will be put on the back burner along with a couple other games. Will NOT be recommending this game to my audience.

This game definitely has it's ups and downs. Here's my gameplay if you want to check out the game: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qwD8_VosNbo Pros: - The atmosphere is scary at first. - Maybe it's just me, but not knowing what's coming after me is probably the scariest part. Which is the beginning. With no story. - Kinda straight forward. It justs throws you in and says, "Just. Run." (Could be a pro? Depends on you.) - There was a good jumpscare. Cons: - The game is verrrryyyy darkkkk. - I feel like more can be added into the game. Otherwise it's kind of just wandering around in the dark. - The enemies are kinda blind. They can't really detect you... Or maybe I was just a ninja. This game could potentially get better with more adjustments. I mean, this isn't the worst or best game ever. Plus, it was only $3.99. Can't always expect the greatest with that type of price. In summary, if you're bored and you're looking for something to play really quick whether it'd be with you or with your friends, then this would be the game!

Evil Park is a small-scale indie horror game that aims to unsettle players through atmosphere, ambiguity, and a deliberately rough presentation rather than through complex mechanics or overt storytelling. Developed and published by Mobsoftware, the game drops players into a bleak, hostile environment with little explanation and even less guidance, immediately establishing a tone of confusion and vulnerability. Rather than building fear through scripted sequences or cinematic moments, Evil Park relies on isolation, darkness, and the constant sense that something dangerous is nearby. The game is presented from a first-person perspective and places heavy emphasis on exploration. Players move through grim, oppressive locations that feel abandoned yet hostile, searching for items and clues without a clear understanding of their ultimate objective. Storytelling is intentionally vague, delivered through fragments of environmental detail and the player’s own interpretation of events. This lack of explicit narrative can be effective in fostering unease, as it leaves players questioning what has happened, where they are, and why they are being hunted. At the same time, the absence of struct…

Just uploaded a video on this game today, you can check it out here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QOu3znzBGSA&t=977s I'm saying this because idk if anyone has had the same problem I had but in my video this game literally crashed an insane amount. The farthest I made it was that I got outside and saw one enemy after that I wasn't able to progress any further without the game crashing on me. Seriously it would only let me record for 1 minute each time before the game would stop responding. And the only thing evil about this game is how terrible that flashlight is and how you run out of stamina after a minute XD. If the crashing issue could've been fixed I would've loved to actually experience what this game was all about but because of that I couldn't see much of the game at all. Also the only evil thing about the enemies that chase you is how they either run after you forever or give up after 2 seconds lmao.

Review: In short, if you have a few bucks to blow and want a few scares in a short game go for it. Its a fun little adventure. Detailed Feedback: When the game loaded in my first impression is that the game looks well made, sharp, good sound, and ect. Second thought is that the batteries for the flashlight is a bit nice as far as the sence of helpless in the dark, but turned into more of a bother than anything. My first encounter with an enemy was scary, but a bit confusing considering he chased me till he hit an AI boundry and glitched into running, but not moving. Helped me out cause I didnt have to worry about him any longer, but still something to work on. Other than that I really felt like I was in this "Evil Park". Everything again looked and sounded "real". Final note on this; the biggest flaw in this game is the gas is hidden too well. Everytime I seen what I thought was a good location or focus point was a let down cause there was no reward. Maybe a f…
