About Evolit

Are you ready to defeat enemies by building your own path? In Evolit, we combine the classic Tower Defense style with Roguelike elements. Use a variety of cards to build strategic decks and defend against enemies that are as cute as they are dangerous!

Cute but Dangerous Enemies

There are countless enemies with incredibly adorable appearances. But don’t be deceived by their looks, they’re extremely dangerous! Some enemies have ranks, and their colors change as they grow stronger. Just another reason to call them cute!

Unique Towers

There are many towers with unique mechanics and fun designs. When positioned correctly, they provide the best defense. To upgrade them, you’ll need to collect a few. Crazy Professor, Giant Furball, Training Dummy, Flame and Water Wizards, Vine Man, and an Alien with eight weapons are just some examples. It even includes a tentacle arm!

Path and Defense

Build decks with diverse gameplay and strategies. Extend paths however you like using road cards and place towers strategically. You can design paths based on your towers’ attack styles. Remember, the longer the path, the more opportunities you’ll have to strike the enemies!

Chaos and Strategy

All these elements come together to create a fun, beautiful, and action-packed chaos. Battling these endless waves of enemy invasions won’t be easy. A solid strategy is essential…

I thought this game would be casual like Plants vs. Zombies, but I was wrong. It's very cute, and **extremely difficult**. I got stuck on early levels and couldn't progress. I had to watch a YouTuber in a different language to understand how to play "properly" so I could continue. That being said, once you get over the learning curve, the game is a LOT of fun! Here's what you need to know in order to play the game: 1. You place towers on the map. The number next to the tower is the cost in gold. You can hover over it to see how much damage it deals. It would be really nice to have a gold coin icon behind the cost number so it's clear that it's not the damage amount. 2. You can upgrade your towers. It took me a while to figure this out. It's never mentioned in the minimal tutorial. 3. You may have to do counter-intuitive things in order to build up enough gold to survive. Everything is like min-maxing and optimizing your plays, with your health being more like a resource. 4. USE THE WIKI. Once I found the wiki in the pause menu, everything got better. You can look up the stats of the enemies there, which you will need to do. Once you get the hang of those point…

If you grew up playing Angry Birds, Plants Vs. Zombies, and Balloon Tower Defense, you'll love this challenging puzzle game. I have spent just under 35 hours and only made it to the 7th level.

I love tower defense games. Especially tower defense games like this one. This game is just not it for me. The game expects you to perfectly place everything. There is no room for error. If you don't place your towers in the most optimal positions, you'll lose. I couldn't beat the second level. Maybe that's pathetic or whatever, but I just don't understand what this game wants from me besides apparently perfection. I'm not a "kaizo" omega difficulty guy, so this game's just not my cup of tea. Additionally, using the fast forward feature actually makes the game more difficult as there seems to be some sort of wonkiness going on when increasing the game speed that causes towers to be less accurate. After playing the second level 20-30 times, I noticed that playing on the slowest speed setting but with the same tower strategy as previous runs actually ended up getting me further along than playing at max speed. At higher speeds, towers miss things a lot, but at lower speeds all the towers are a lot more accurate and the enemy movement is not as "evasive". Maybe I'm just missing something, but I cannot figure out how to meet this game where it expects me to be. I want to like it, b…
Evolit
plants v zombies lookin' tower defense My name is G0disPink and I have a YouTube channel where I play and upload my first experience with a game unedited. Most of my videos are 20 to 30 minutes in length and this is my critique from my short time with the game. Similarities From

Plants vs Zombies
Tower Defense games
The Good

Minimalistic Graphics
Cute Sprites
Fun Gameplay
The Bad

Minimalistic Graphics
Some levels get a lot harder than others in later rounds (seems slightly unbalanced)
Final Opinion As an avid lover for tower defense games, this game is a very good "Baby's first tower defense" game. It's simple, straight forward and a very good game to give someone to introduce them into the genre. But also has the capability of demanding proper placement and farming of coins to advance further into the levels. For under $10, this is one of the better tower defense games you can get.
