Yeah, this is a pretty crappy Vampire Survivor Clone. Good thing this game's free.1 found this helpful
It is a bold-faced bootleg Vampire Survivors. All the good looking assets were taken from Kenney (which is fine, Kenney exists to give away free assets), and all the bad stuff was AI generated - leading to some gnarly asset clash. If you're familiar with Vampire Survivors' rise to fame in 2022 (and the rise of the "bullet heaven' genre), a bunch of shameless Survivor clones emerged. This one was later than most, but it even charged people until late last year when it went F2P. I can't in good conscience recommend this game. The core gameplay loop originating from Vampire Survivors is not iterated upon in any meaningful way.1 found this helpful
Uses AI generated art a lot in-game and generally is pretty lackluster. It has a lot of characters but they just have singular traits that you can upgrade towards with any other character, making the characters a really repetitive experience unless you focus on certain paths. That idea also sucks though because a lot of the weapons are way better than others. Combine the lack of balance with some insanely buggy and stupidly unfair and difficult bosses (I couldn't pass the 2nd stage with I don't know how many runs because the boss spams area attacks that surround you along with ranged that are homing.) and it's more of a frustrating experience than a fun one. Thumbs down. TL;DR With just a little more effort into the UI, character variations, and balance and it could be a solid game with the amount of weapons and combinations it has.1 found this helpful
One of the worst vampire survivor clones I've played on steam or mobile, which is really saying something. It has all the depth of a piss puddle on the floor of a dive bar bathroom, and about as much appeal. The Level design is the only positive thing this game has going for it, at least that's somewhat different than 1000 other better made games, but that's about the only positive thing I can say for it. The controls are non-existent, you just target whatever the closest thing to you is, which means thanks to the laughable weapons/abilities you get, when you inevitably get a large horde of enemies chasing you, instead of targeting that horde, you'll target some random peon in the direction you're running. If only we had some way to let the player choose where to attack, like a MOUSE! But no, clearly it's a better design choice to just randomly target whatever. I wish I had extra hands so I could give this game 4 thumbs down.1 found this helpful
Recommended for Hardcore Challenge Seekers This game isn’t your typical genre fare—it’s brutally unforgiving and punishing, with levels that escalate in difficulty and RNG-based upgrades that can make or break your progress. Health regenerates, but just barely enough to survive the relentless challenges. If you enjoy pushing your limits, unlocking a large roster of characters, and embracing a steep learning curve, this game will reward your persistence. Heads-up: This isn’t for casual players. Only dive in if you’re ready for a tough, uncompromising experience—but if you are, it’s highly satisfying.
Boring gameplay, bad music and the worst graphics!
