About Defiled Survivors

Defiled Survivors is a medieval themed, action roguelite game that challenges you to defeat thousands of enemies and bosses in order to progress through enemy waves. As a player, you can choose from different characters, each with their own attributes and play styles. To enhance your character's abilities, you can select passive skills as you level up, purchase skill, items, and companions in game.
The game requires you to move around the map, leveling up and choose right build to improve your chances of survival. As you progress through the levels, the difficulty increases, and you'll face tougher enemies and bosses.

Players are sharply divided on this release, with many expressing disappointment that the full game differs significantly from the prologue demo, featuring a smaller arena-based map, removed mechanics like targeted abilities and dynamic vision systems, and a wave-based time limit format rather than continuous gameplay. While some appreciate the affordable price, decent graphics, and character variety, the majority of critics feel misled by the departure from the prologue experience and view it as an inferior product compared to what they played in the demo.
I though i was going to play something like the demo. Instead we get a buggy arena style map. No meta progression. and lies.7 found this helpful
I was initially surprised by the numerous negative reviews. The game is affordable, has good graphics, and provides a sufficient variety of characters and spells. While it seems to have many positive aspects, what's the issue with the game? Primarily, the game deviates from the prologue version. In the prologue version: The map is much larger The main skill is targeted with the mouse There are continuous waves Passive skills are displayed The vision radius decreases at night Ability improvement occurs during waves. In this version : Some abilities are missing, but there are companions Only companions are displayed The map is small arena 17 waves with time limit (from 30 seconds to 1 minute) Upon leveling up, you can choose only passive abilities Locking and rerolling abilities in the store. There's an achievement in the game where you must not take damage for all waves: in my opinion, it's unattainable in this version. To be honest this game has good potential, but unfortunately, not right now. Perhaps the developer didn't want the game to be almost identical to Vampire Survivors.3 found this helpful
Nothing remotely close to the demo. (Defiled survivors: Prologue) If I didn't know better, I'd say the demo and the paid game got confused and it should be the other way around. The demo's more of a game than the wave-stuff going on in the "full" release. Do not buy this if you came from Prologue hoping for that game, because it's nowhere near the same experience.1 found this helpful
After playing the prologue, I would expect this to be an improvement or at least have the same play ability. Its a shame. Lets hope that they sort it out. Could be a great game. Do not mess it up. its not brotato.1 found this helpful
