The Dark Survivors

I've invested close to 100 hours in Vampire Survivors, and this game not only captures the same atmosphere but also offers additional replay value. The ability to create and customize my own character, as well as experiment with various strategies, adds to the game's appeal. I wish for an improved inventory system in future updates that would enable better organization and preservation of my items.

Nice Game ... but need more options window screen <3

This game is super bare bones. It currently has less going on for it than those old War3 Open RPG custom maps. I only kept this review as positive because its one of the first few and hopefully the dev starts releasing some content.

as others have said, extremely bare bones, needs a fair bit of work. from what i can tell, your abilities are granted by items and not on level up (i dont actually know what levelling up does, if anything). this means when you're gear isnt great you will just lose and have to hope to get better items on next run - no real way to make decisions on abilities that will increase your chances of success. it also means that when you get good items they'll be so hard to replace because you will need the same piece but higher stats. other thing i would add is that many of the abilities i used were front facing attacks so when everything is closing in you cant run away while thinning the herd at the same time, didnt feel great. otherwise, i paid $0.97AUD, cant be mad at that, with time this could become something pretty cool as i believe it has a strong core loop
