About Exit the Gungeon
Survive endless waves of enemies across collapsing elevators in this arcade-style roguelike where your gun transforms into increasingly powerful forms based on your combat performance. Fast-paced bullet-hell action, procedurally shifting rooms and weapons, and encounters with quirky characters make every run feel fresh and unpredictable.
The Gungeon has become a paradox and is collapsing! Blessed by the magic of the Sorceress, your gun will change rapidly as you ascend the Gungeon. The better you play, and the higher your combo, the more powerful the form your gun will take.
Battle against the last and most bitter of the Gundead at a frantic pace, slowing down just long enough to chat with some familiar faces… and a few new ones. Shifting rooms, enemies, bosses, bizarre weapons and items all combine to ensure that no two attempts to Exit the Gungeon are the same.

Its a very different type of game from Enter the Gungeon. I think its pretty fun, but you shouldn't go in with the highest expectations. It feels more like a high quality mobile game (which it is).1 found this helpful
JUMP INSTEAD OF ROLLING. The game doesn't exactly tell you this, but it becomes way, way easier if you just jump instead of rolling most of the time. You get way more iframes as opposed to rolling, and it makes some of the bosses almost trivial. It's still not a great game, and it's not anywhere near as good as Enter the Gungeon, but I'd say I got $2 of fun out of it.

Just play Enter.
This kind of feels like a fanmade game, but it's really fun.
