I usually stay away from horror games, but I felt like I had to play at least one horror game in VR before I could say it isn't for me. Well, now I have, and it really isn't. Now, just because I'm a chicken and quit the game early on isn't why I won't recommend other people this experience. This game suffers from awkward controls, at least on the Meta Quest 2. You also constantly go out of bounds whenever you teleport jump too close to a wall or large object, and it can at times be hard to jump out of. The last issue I had was motion sickness. I usually don't suffer from motion sickness in VR, but it hit hard in this game. Another thing is that the game itself just feels slightly outdated, even for a VR title. The whole mission design, objectives, and graphics feel like a really early VR tech demo, not like a real game. These issues are enough for me not to recommend this game. Especially the out of bounds thing makes this game hard to enjoy, since it makes the only viable movement in the game, the thumbstick walking, which will give you almost instant nausea. ___________________ Follow my Curator for more!

Exorcism of the Legion (Last Rites), developed and published by LegionVR, LLC in collaboration with Fun Train, is a fully realized VR horror anthology that compiles its episodic chapters into one cohesive and deeply unsettling experience. Built specifically for virtual reality, the game does not merely adapt traditional horror design into VR—it constructs its entire identity around immersion, physical presence, and psychological vulnerability. From the moment players step into its world, the sense of isolation and dread feels immediate, amplified by the fact that every shadow, whisper, and sudden movement exists in full spatial awareness around them. The game unfolds across multiple chapters, each set in a distinct environment with its own thematic focus and demonic presence. Rather than presenting disconnected horror scenarios, these chapters function as interconnected episodes within a broader narrative arc. Players take on the role of an investigator confronting increasingly sinister manifestations, uncovering cryptic clues and piecing together fragments of a larger mystery. The episodic structure works particularly well in VR, as it allows each setting to feel carefully crafte…

Bought the OG version of this many years ago for my old rift... Now all I get is black screen. I tried the Beta version fix, but got the same results. :(

One of if not the best VR horror game ive ever played. I always recommend this game when people ask for recommendations. runs smoothly even back when I had a dell optiplex with an off brand link cable. Will always be my favorite.

audio is way too quiet. cant hear 90% of what is being sad and with no subtitles i would not recommend if you are interested in the story (which is the main bit)

"...if in order to destroy Dust we also have to destroy the Oblation Board, the College of Bishops, every single agency by which the Holy Holy Church does the work of the Authority — then so be it ... better a world with no church and no Dust than a world where every day we have to struggle under the hideous burden of sin. for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return
