About Extravaganza Rising
Three brave souls boldly descend into a town ridden with monsters, allies and everything in between. Driven only by the promise of powerful trinkets, unlimited treasure and almost certain death, they venture on. Bravely they wander these cursed lands - apprehensive, yet driven by an unshakeable belief in a single universal truth...
Fortune favors those bold enough to collect and train tiny monsters.
Fight alongside what were once enemies as you teach them to feel both love and hate at the correct times. Build a lasting friendship by feeding them sweet food and teaching them new skills.
Every monster has a rare version waiting to be discovered. Rare monsters are more formidable than their regular counterparts and have access to a special magical skill normally only learned by people.
Select one of three wayward souls to delve into the land of Monsterville and uncover its secrets. Where have the monsters come from and why are they here? Why do they all seem to obey the old lady in town? And most importantly, which of them is the strongest?
Side quests and mini games provide opportunities to cheat people out of their money, attain powerful gear and discover the most powerful monsters in Monsterville.

Very similar to a Gameboy Color game called Monster Rancher Battle Card Game. This game needs a bike or skates to move faster between areas. Also, needs to have a reliable way to reset your special moves and you use these moves for killing bosses. Fun for 3-4 hours and the better beasts are unlocked after you reach lv 26. I feel after lv 20, they should be unlockable since the highest dungeon lv is 15 for the first half of game and at that point you are just doing quests, grinding for gold, or leveling your party.8 found this helpful

I usually try and finish games I play before leaving a review of them, however, if this game actually does have an ending, it probably requires several more hours of grinding in order for me to actually reach it, so I think I'll make an exception here. This game is made by the same creator of the Lilly and Sasha series and it shows. You see all the strengths and weaknesses of John Wizard's game design on full display in this game. The gameplay tactics and attention to detail are all typical of his games, and it's hard not to love. A personal favourite is the "Weather Effect" that was modified to shoot confetti whenever you finished an area. You can tell this was made with a lot of love, even if a lot of the resources are from the RPG Maker VX Ace RTP. (Which I don't have a problem with, personally, since they're so well used.) The biggest problem with this game for me is, well, for being an RPG, it is sorely lacking in story. Not that every game needs to have an elaborate story to justify its existence, but with games made in the RPG Maker program, you'd kind of expect that? I dunno. The entire time I played it, it felt like a mobile game that just happened to be made with…1 found this helpful
RPG Maker strikes again! Extravaganza Rising is one of hundreds of low effort retro-pixel RPG Maker asset/construction kit flips spamming the Steam catalog, made with the RPG Maker video game construction kit... in their own words, "Our easy to use tools are simple enough for a child." Like all RPG Maker "games", this is essentially a bunch of low quality/canned assets from RPG Maker coupled with a cringeworthy high school anime club fan fiction. As with all RPG Maker games, the poor quality engine displays badly in fullscreen and doesn't have full HD support or any graphics tweaking options, making this unacceptable for any dedicated modern PC gamer. The point can be made that the intention of RPG Maker is to make demos and small games to pass around friends, and shouldn't be used for "professional" game development. This fanfiction construction kit asset flip is a badly done Pokemon ripoff from the King of Cringe, John Wizard, who writes himself into these games with his fictional anime waifu. One day, scientists will find a way to concentrate this cringe and put it to good use by dissolving waste or something. Gamers who want a good retro JRPG experience would be better …1 found this helpful
