Edited after Early Access: This is a great game and I find every bit of it charming and fun. Looks good, sounds good, and I come back to it when I want to chill.

So after about an hour of playing, I got to say I did enjoy the game, It Is simple and fun, nothing super deep or special but It Is worth the small price tag and does contain enough content to keep you entertained for a while as you level up and get better gear. I did not finish the game, nor what Is currently there, at least not yet, but will probably return to It later. However during play I did also notice a few things that were broken, or just bothered me You have no way to exit the game from the main menu, you have to boot into your save before you can turn the game off, and you also can not return to the main menu from the game... or well so it appears but there seems to be a hidden button in the lower left corner of the save screen which takes you back to the main menu, I don't quite get why Its not just normally there but yeah. Another issue I had was that the healthbar of the UI covers the doors of houses, not really gamebreaking but somewhat annoying. Then I found two bugs, the first one being that the bodybuilder quest gave me two bodybuilder items, but after selling one, the other one randomly turned into a rat tooth sword when I attempted to equip it, and thus I lo…

pretty fun! even though it's a looter and pretty grindy, it reminded me a bit of the simple combat of the bump style Ys games. the artstyle is charming, especially the main character sprites. some songs were also suprisingly atmospheric, like the ones that play in the swamp and icy areas. the lack of shiny visuals for upgrading stuff and opening loot actually turns this into a less compulsive experience than other games of the subgenre. it really does seem like a game made for the love of the grind (and it's not so long as to get really hardcore). there are a few little quality of life features that i'd suggest (2024 UPDATE: these were all implemented! the last boss didn't even need any changes, that was just a question i had): - more increments to upgrading equipment. between the 1 and MAX settings it'd be nice to see an option to upgrade 10 or 100 armor levels in a row so i can balance health and damage without clicking 1000 times like a maniac for the late game equipment. - a separate volume setting for the music - maybe that's just me being bad at the game, but i feel like the final 2 bosses' attacks are a little too fast to even understand how to dodge them. if they're meant…
