In the region of eternal flow, the present time is stable, if not tense. Much like other regions, mysteries remain unsolved here, but the most prominent one is the Centennial Tower; A looming figure in the distant ocean that is said to be unreachable. Some say it grants great power to those who reach it, while some say those who travel towards it will become cursed, or some say it is merely an illusion. A mysterious scholar intends to tamper the truth, but his venture will be far from simple.The more characters that get intertwined, the more the conflict accumulates...
Play through the lens of multiple characters as you plow through foes and uncover the land of eternal flow. Faction Reticent is a 2D platformer focused on fast combat and smart usage of your abilities. I've had the honor of testing this game over the development years and i can confidently say that each day it got better. Combat and movement wise is one of the best 2D experiences i have ever had, fast but with an oustanding level of control over the characters. Character and world design are colorfoul and lovely, and skills are visually amazing. enjoying this so far not ddone EA yet but im loving the game. Very difficult so if you like a challenge it'll be up your alley. the fights are very fast paced too. the animation put into the sprites are very nice especially on the demi beasts, during cutscenes. items feel like theyre lacking idk if intentional or a EA thing.
