Factory Manager is a game in which you start your own production business from a scratch.
In the early stages of the game you will find out what a really bad loan is since you have not earned any trust yet. Hire your first stuff, provide yourself with machines and do not forget about recipes, you will need them for production.
At first, it may seem that the market economy is playing dirty tricks with you, but as soon as you become more experienced entrepreneur, you will have to play by its rules and hammer such simple terms as "demand" and "offer" into your head
Choose your own way of technology development. Potentially, your small nail factory can grow into a large carmaker or even a factory where modern satellites are manufactured.
As you work hard your qualification and your stuff experience will grow. Labor veterans are capable of much more than green newcomers. Use their experience for the benefit of your own business.
Be prepared for surprises: your machines can fail at the most unfortunate moment, the market conditions can change tremendously in a matter of days, and banks can refuse to lend on acceptable terms. In bad times quality management is the only way to save the company.

Factory Manager is a simple business tycoon game with the very dry premise of running a factory, presented in a kind of 1990's browser game aesthetic (that's definitely not going to win any prizes). Gameplay consists of trying to keep your head above water and your factory in the black, by producing things of increasingly complex nature and selling them for what little profits you have, and fulfilling contracts which are random and difficult. There's no reason such an idea can't work, other games have taken this premise and done well with it. Here, unfortunately, poor technical delivery is matched with poor game design and balance choices, as the game is needlessly difficult for the target audience of people who just want to build, grow and progress casually. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. While there are options to change the resolution for the game, all this does is scale up the simplistic low quality art assets used to make the game, which makes little or no difference to the graphics quality. I often find these simulation games rather amusing, and this was no exception. Unfortunately this game suffers f rom whath feels like severe balance issues. You're barely able to scrape a profit with the low tech items, and as you expand to take advantage of the higher tier items their price just tanks and raw materials soar. So essentially you become a car parts manufacturing wannabe with increasingly larger cycles of debt hoping to break through and survive until you can make an actual car. Whether it is worth it in the end I don't' know, but would imagine the price of cars would simply tank rendering most of your investment worthless. I suppose you could take a much slower approach, but the commodity price tanking and raw resource inflation is still very much present at lower levels so you're stuck scraping a barrel.2 found this helpful
It's worth $2.50 but lets be clear this isn't much of a game. If the achievements were fixed then it would be enough to make it worth sticking with but this is an old game and as far as I can see no active development engagement. Still what do you expect for the price of a quarter of a beer at a football game?
