FADE is an Dark Fantasy Action RPG that combines combat inspired by the “Souls Series” with the narrative direction of FABLE and the anime Full Metal Alchemist.
In FADE players will be tasked with exploring the settlements of Celeste, Solemn, Whisper, and The Baltane Capital in order stop the 5 Homunculus Monarchs, each with their own unique spin on alchemy and combat, sharing a destructive plot to sacrifice the country.
To succeed in your journey you'll have to, take on side quests, craft useful items and collect powerful equipment.

Fade has the potential to be more then the sum of it's parts, the visuals are far more interesting then most screen shots make them appear, and the combat is already better then half the souls likes in my library. The combination of Fabled and dark souls aesthetic makes you feel like you are in a world on the edge, something that I have not gotten from a souls game before, you can really feel the passion the dev has for this game. Voice acting is good and while this is obviously a proof of concept build the jank is more then manageable. I have played all three classes (and the hidden "none" class) and the only one that need work is the magic user, the rouge and worrier are both easy to get into and capable. I would totally recommend supporting this game. the finished product is going to be awesome.2 found this helpful
The game frequently crashes on the steam deck oled. It does seem like it would be fun if the frequent crashes did not happen. Especially when I was going to fight a mini boss. The demo made me purchase the game.1 found this helpful
as much as i want to support the devs... its not my cup of tea the gameplay loop is boring and not to mention very clunky and has a lot of jank. There are better solo devs if i have to be very honest.1 found this helpful
