- With the addition of roguelike elements, you’ll acquire Blessings from shops or random events. These Blessings not only boost your stats but also change the way your skills attack, allowing you to craft a unique combat style and make your squad stronger with every battle!

Its design philosophy favors clarity and repeatability, encouraging players to learn through experimentation and gradual mastery rather than overwhelming them with systems upfront. At the heart of the experience is a distinctive approach to turn-based combat that emphasizes movement and spatial awareness over direct command of every action. Units act automatically once engaged, but the player’s influence comes from carefully positioning the squad, anticipating enemy behavior, and exploiting terrain. Finished the game in 9hrs so I hope they release more content, but albeit a bit short its already worth the price. Its a clean roguelite deckbuilder with nice cheesy pixel graphics. It starts out pretty hard, with a steep learning curve like the old days of gaming, but then you get the hang of it.
It's like a short and sweet darkest dungeon with real time pause. A lot easier too.
