About Fall Minamo
This game is about you, Minamo-chan, being swept away by a waterfall.
The object of the game is to survive as long as possible, avoiding the attacks of the ferocious creatures that live in the waterfall.
The longer you survive, the better your score, and you can enjoy a cute multi-ending based on your score.
There are only two basic controls. Even beginners can enjoy the game casually.
"Move"... Move left and right with the directional keys.
"Swim"... Swim as hard as you can to raise your stamina a little. If you run out of stamina, you can't swim!
Leveling up is important to defend against progressively more intense attacks.
Collect Japanese confectionary to gain experience and strengthen your skills strategically.
Minamo-chan is a normal, cute girl who yearns to be an adult. She is unsociable, but she loves her friends.
By nature, she is loved by all the water in the world.
Minamo-chan is prone to flooding because the water wants to be friends with Minamo-chan.

"Fall Minamo" is a very basic Adobe Flash tier endless runner that might as well be a browser game. Instead of running to the left/right/forward here, you're falling and you have to avoid various obstacles as you fall, that's it. Poor animations and simple static sprites round out this incredibly simple, vapid experience that might as well have been a browser/Flash game. The game features really lacklustre 2D visuals (does the developer not know 3D graphics became mainstream in the mid-1990s?). Gamers don't spend thousands of dollars on gaming rigs to pretend they're mobile phones or Commodore 64s. Not every "free" game really is. There's often MTX, or content locked behind DLC, or donations being requested, or any other number of things that could mislead gamers, but in this case I'm glad to say this really does appear to be a fully free game. Nothing demonstrates a developers belief in themselves and their work than giving it away without any remuneration. This is a service to themselves, and the gaming industry, and should be applauded. Of course, just because something is free, doesn't necessarily mean it's valuable. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to …2 found this helpful
Dunno about this, SPACE doesn't work and at a certain point I think I bugged the game cause the character was invisible and the game kept going.1 found this helpful
Description
Fall Minamo is a very short "avoid the obstacles" type of game, made by a Japanese developer using Unity. This game is not endless, and it has multiple endings.
Achievements
Getting the true ending will unlock all the achievements. I got it in 29 minutes.
Linux
This game has been played on Fedora Kinoite using Proton 8.0-5. Other than nVidia flickering, I faced no issues.
