'Farm Your Friends: A Midwest Gothic' is a farming and exploration game set in the rolling hills of the Missouri Ozarks.

After one too many screw-ups, your family has given you a choice: take over your Uncle's farm, or face what's coming alone. You were on a train that afternoon.
Ilion, Missouri: home to very little. The people seem kind enough, the hills roll on forever in every direction, and something feels strange. It's probably just the country air.Tend to your farm, pay off your bills, and don't focus too heavily on the strange occurrences that plague the lonely acres

• Fully customizable farm!: Dig, plant, build, automate, and defend your land however you want. Grow crops, engineer contraptions, or skip farming entirely and focus on survival!
• Single-player and 8 Player Co-Op!:  Go forth alone to tame land and beast, or bring up to 7 of your most trusted laborers to strike the soil and reap heavenly rewards! 
• 24 hour Day/Night Cycle!: No mandatory 6AM wake-up calls. Sleep in. Explore the woods at 3AM. Stop by the store at dawn for one of those new "energy drinks" and power through the rest of your morning. Just don't let your responsibilities pile up forever...
• Immersive Environment!: Spend hours in a finely crafted simulacrum of 1989 rural life. Every detail is handcrafted to bring you a little closer to the rugged 1990s in a bottle.

• Defend!: Flanked on one side by rising costs and tight margins, and on the other by forces no man can explain; this land won't give itself up too easy. Pay your taxes and Stay alert.
• Explore!: Travel around town, entering and exploring the numerous buildings and streets that make up Ilion. Or, take a walk around the woods, and maybe try your luck in the long forgotten Steel Ridge Mines... Just be careful...
• Befriend!: Meet and talk to a wide cast of characters, each of which call Ilion their home. Earn their trust and friendship, and maybe one day... their heart?
• Bug-fight!: If you need a break from all that, spend some time collecting bugs and bring them to the well-known secret "Bug-Fighting Arena" to see if they can best the rest. Train and pick the best bugs to foster only the best and strongest insectoids.
• Craft!: Combine ingredients to build new and useful items and devices to improve life on the farm.
• Combat!: Fight off many different monsters and freaks who would seek to see your farm in flames!
