Fishton: A Town to Remember

I love watching Memoria play this game and finally decided to try it out for myself, its so silly its actuall great. if you want to just have fun then I highly reccomend it. As for people saying its a toxic communuty? nothing could be further from the truth

Fishton is several games in one. The story line has you salvaging cars with used parts that the citizens drop in specific locations. You start with 7 types of vehicles (Hatchback, Coupe, Sedan, Van, Truck, SUV, and Sports Car) that you can fix up, repaint, and sell for cash. You start with paying rent in your Uncles shop with other locations to either rent or buy. When you finish the story as it is now you have the chance to own a camp ground on the New Fishton map. There are several businesses you can buy, build up and run. Some have employees to do some of the work while you do other things. The is a Hotdog stand, Gas station, Arcade, and Auto repair shop in Fishton. There is also a car race track to compete against a local. There is a Small farm, Car factory, and Camp ground in New Fishton. There are specific trees you can harvest and turn in to a lumber yard with drop off locations on both maps. There are connections between some of the businesses like canning soup to stock the Gas station. I am obsessed with this game, it is the best game, I don't know why more people aren't playing it, everything u might say is a negative I say makes this game hilarious and gives it an incredible personality. The theme song? A banger for the rest of my days. Car building? easy and simple and also scuffed enough to give me a task to fix but its not REALLY about my knowledge of cars but silly game glitches which I am far superior at dealing with (the tires are cursed if your car doesn't work remove and put them back on I swear- also check if your transmission disappeared its fine just get a new one LOL) The devs love this game and their community and that's visible on every single block of Fishton there's so many sweet little niche references to a little community that has built up around this very special gem and the devs love to help with any questions about their games, the discord is a wholesome space. I legit believe if you like silly cozy slice of life type games, grindy games where u do the same thing alot, and have any kind of echolalia u will probably have fun here in Fishton. Beyond that I keep finding more content and more stuff to do. I've got car building…

Off the bat, I will openly say that I was the lucky recipient of a FREE copy of this game, from the devs. However, it didn't change my opinion. I love that there is an almost endless amount of things you can do in this game. With events throughout the year and endless thought and love put into this game every day, it is ridiculously fun & addictive. Though I will say, that with the endless things to do, comes an endless number of ways to fail, crash, fail even harder and basically become distracted from the actual story and the intentions of the Devs. Like me; every time I log in, I find a brand new way to cause utter bedlam and display what a gargantuan wingnut I am.

I heard the words ouchers a lot... Either jumping off stuff or being munched by wolves. I failed my written driving exam... And hoarded a lot of random car parts. 10/10 would do it again xD

FIshton is a gem. I got this game as a gift from a streamer and I've played the game a few times. It needed some getting used to while I figure out what to do but I love this game. There is so much to do than simply rapairing cars. The game is chil, fun and entertaining. I love it and I totally would recommend it to people. It's a great game!
