About Fit My Cat

Imagine a cardboard box. Is it shaped to fit one to two fluffy felines? What about five? What about twenty?

Fit My Cat presents you with many cute kitties that all wish to sit where they deem fit. That being said, we're running out of space and we are seriously looking for a cat organizer. If you could spare a moment or two to make that happen we would be grateful.

Every single one of them is trained and well-equipped for some spatial management – pick them up and rotate them as you see fit.

Just so you're aware, some boxes might come with yarn balls or entire cathouses – but that will not prevent those spunky kitties from trying to get inside.

Test your skills and show the world that herding cats is where fun begins!

I'm a fan of the small RedDeer team and the games they bring us, but I have to be honest and say they've dropped the ball with this one. This really is a shame since I like these fit-in-grid-base puzzle games. Given that this one is a bit more expensive than others on Steam, I expected more, quantity—and quality-wise. At least it's nothing they can't fix or polish, and I genuinely hope they do since its few stupid flaws now making it more frustrating than enjoyable. For me, these flaws were: * I didn't particularly appreciate how it worked with a controller, so I switched to my mouse instead. I was confused when I didn't see my little mouse pointer but saw cats highlight a little. It turns out that if you unplug your controller, you can see your mouse pointer. * Sometimes if I put one floof in the grid, a floof close by flopped back out. Like why? * It could have been clearer how many grid spaces some floofs took. It felt like it needed to be more appropriately fitting visually. * If you don't want to try again and only pick one floof back out of the grid... it refused to be set back outside. It sometimes would after stubbornly trying multiple times, but ugh, this should have …

If you have played similar games, you know how this game should go. Visually its attractive, but the controls leave an awful LOT to be desired, even with a mouse! The game will also sometimes refuse to arrange the cats where you want them to go, even if you know they will fit, presumably because this is not the result the game's algorithm will accept. For the price, its very rough where it matters, which is in playing it, which is a pity as I have enjoyed other similar cat games that have played so smoothly out of the box. I would recommend leaving off purchasing this game for now, until the devs take notice of the complaints and do something about them. When this happens i will happily change my recommendation if the game is improved and easily playable. In the meantime, you have been warned!

I started playing the game the other night because I needed to unwind. Without realizing it, an hour had passed, and I was on level 41 (out of 100). It was very relaxing, and it hooked me. The controls are very simple, and the game provides a mini how to at the beginning. The background music can get repetitive, but it's not distracting enough to get unbearable. Art style is super cute, and you'll get little meows here and there while playing. Now, be aware that if you are a kitty's hooman, they may think the meows are from another nearby cat. You could use this moment for cute picture time. I know I did. I was really surprised when I noticed the game has 100 levels, especially when it starts getting a bit challenging at the 40 mark. I can't imagine the difficulty of those levels closer to 100! I'm not a full fan of the $9.99 USD pricing, but if I had to average it out,…

I received a free copy of Fit My Cat for the purpose of reviewing the game. It's what you expect it to be from the Steam images. You get an area, a couple of cats (boxes), and your goal is to fit everything inside the area. There are quite a few quality of life things I'd like to see, and the controls are far from desirable. Here are a few suggestions/thoughts: - Selecting / putting a cat back feels really inconsistent. Most of the time it gets picked up automatically again. - The hitbox of some cats is not as clear as it could be; both when it comes to understanding if a square is occupied, and when it comes to if you hover the cat over the squares you think you do. - The controls are really inconsistent as well. Starting the game and navigating the menus you have to use the keyboard. Unless you're changing audio levels! Then you have to use the mouse. And after selecting a level with your keyboard you're back to using your mouse again! - Unrelated to the game itself, but the store page feels very AI-generated. Not a big fan of that. - The game is a bit expensive for what it is. So I guess that's most of my thoughts. I wouldn't pay €10 for this myself and there are quite a few …

this might be a decent game but (1) the controls are awful and (2) the first few levels are so easy even a toddler would get bored. Given how bad the controls are (cat don't move when they should or won't go into their destination on the grid) I was definitely not tempted to suffer thru more of the early levels to see if later levels ever got interesting. And to top if all off, when I came back later to give it one last try, all my progress had been lost! this feels like even the devs couldn't stand to play it enough to beta test it.

"Fit My Cat" by RedDeer.Games is an adorable and entertaining puzzle game that challenges players to organize a variety of cute cats into a limited space. With its simple gameplay, charming visuals, and loveable feline characters, this indie gem provides hours of enjoyable gameplay for players of all ages. The gameplay is straightforward: you must arrange a group of round-eyed cats within a confined area, taking into account their unique shapes and sizes, as well as the presence of obstacles like yarn balls and mini cat houses. As you progress through the game's 90+ levels, the puzzles become increasingly complex and challenging, requiring a combination of spatial reasoning and problem-solving skills. What sets "Fit My Cat" apart from other puzzle games is its whimsical and lighthearted tone, which is both relaxing and engaging. The hand-drawn visuals and the endearing animations of the cats as they curl up, stretch out, or roll around, create a delightful atmosphere that's hard to resist. For fans of the popular "Cats Organized Neatly" game, "Fit My Cat" offers a similar gameplay experience; though it requires precise placement of each cat which may pose a challenge and present…
