Floor 9

The anomalies seem to range from the unexplainable to a kid with a crayon. Floor 9 is, as the name implies a 9 level, find the anomaly and mark the floor as save or not type of game. You start at floor 9 and try to make your way down to floor 1. Each time you fail you get send back to floor 9. With 30 different anomalies, some more obvious and some more hidden, you can replay the game a few times before you end up checking the same spot to quick-run the game. The game is quite fun the first few runs, where you are overthinking every item. Is this normal? Is this an anomaly? After those runs you kinda know where to look and the game loses it charm. Still, the game is good for a hour of playtime. Simple and easy to get into if you have a bit of time to spare.

Good little game, but the RNG is not that great. Occasionally my run was reseted after pushing the normal button even though there was no anomaly on the floor.

Love the quiet, unsettling ambience of this title. It takes a couple of hours to really lock down what the hallway is supposed to look like, and after awhile you can get into a comfortable rhythm with it. While horror themed, I would really characterize this more as a cozy game for fans of horror? In either case I've already dumped about 12 hours into it and intend to keep playing until I find all of the new recently added anomalies. Potential spoilers: That said, I do feel there is a lot more the developers could do with this game. There are presently 38 anomalies and that could easily be expanded to twice as many. There is some imbalance in the way anomalies are distributed through each play through. Certain areas never have any changes whatsoever, while other areas show frequent alterations. The flower pot area alone has three anomalies but the electrical box has none? More could be done with certain doors, the ceiling lights, the carpet, signage, the window, etc. Another opportunity for game expansion would be to do other hallways on the 9th floor of the hotel, or difficulty levels for the same hall. Boring, tedious, slow, repetitive, and anomalies are not fun. I can see why this company stopped making games

I want to really love this game, really. But the difficulty is not about finding the anomalies, it's about volontary unresponsive commands where you can't walk in a straight line and blurry unoptimized graphics in a so simple small game. No way you can have the game running smoothly and clearly as in the trailer with this blurry obligatory effect (and no way to remove it in the graphic options).

A pretty simple anomaly game. It has a small area with not too much going on, some creepy moments and overall alright. Good if you enjoy anomaly games & it has a good price tag.
