Floor Plan 2 is bigger, better and funnier. One of the most well done puzzle games ever done in VR.1 found this helpful
This is one of my favorite VR escape room style games. If you're into those and you have the hardware, you owe it to yourself to play both this and the prequel. Definitely start with the first, as this one has way more polish, but the first uses some unique puzzle ideas not in this one.
An incredibly entertaining and well made game especially for how it looks. The whole Captain Underpants/ Muppets type art style is so full of energy, just something like your hands being so wacky and fun, and immensely reminds me of something Kevin Temmer would make to the point that it's uncanny. The puzzles are genuinely some of the most well thought out ones I've seen in the vr genre, some obviously being solved in a dumb cartoon way and others actually really smart. I'm not a big fan of the first game, because it just feels like a vr mobile game and puts the 2nd game in a bad light, but you can really see they've struck gold in the second one, still keeping the small things that made the 1st decent (and you don't need to play the 1st to catch up on the story or any in that likeness) The DLC is even better than the base game, still coming up with great puzzle ideas and solutions and also great ideas in general, whether it be theming or jokes, such as one of the floors being a little tiny hotel made up of cardboard inhabited by bugs, or another being a huge maze with giant figures and enemies, just to turn out to be a small D&D board that you can control. The "Backside Story" puzzles absolutely made the game for me. Floor Plan 2's colorful and silly but unsatisfying primary puzzles didn't provide many threads to pull on. The base game also wraps up quite quickly and feels like it's missing an entire act. Thankfully, the free DLC adds the right level of converging puzzle tangents to feel like a real point-n-click adventure, not just a repetitious elevator ride to thematically distinct rooms.
