Such a lovely relaxing flower simulator game which allows you to create beautiful and different kinds of flowers.

Flower Design II is the kind of game that someone might not know they want (or perhaps even need) until they try it the very first time. Then they wonder where it’s been for so long. I’m not sure it’s even possible to feel angry or stressed once Flower Design II launches. This game (or perhaps a better term might be “experience”) contains no measure of failure or success as is commonly known in gaming. Just as in nature, all combinations of plants and/or flowers are perfect (though some can admittedly seem to have a greater aesthetic appeal.) And that’s where the design challenge comes in. While simply placing plants and flowers into the vase of your own design has a strong appeal (and I would suggest almost anyone might find absolute delight in performing that simple task, as it is VERY relaxing to do so), coming to understand the concepts of design that turn this natural concept into art in the truest form is the challenge that has the power to turn every “flower designer” into a true artist. As one spends time with Flower Design II, they very quickly come to grasp concepts of proportion, color contrasts, blank space, flow, and how complexity doesn’t always convey the greatest …

While I understand the artistic significance of a clean UI, the designer has me at a loss with no clear explanation of tools or object placement. In other words - it's too minimalist. Constantly minimalist. If it was more fleshed out, showing me what I was actually clicking and moving, etc - It might actually be a neat little tool.

Flower Design 2 is an upgrade from the first in many ways. The controls have been improved upon a lot. They're still a little quirky and take a little bit to get used to, but once you've gotten the hang of it you'll be fine. The money aspect of the first game was scrapped in favor of earning new plants as you play, which flows a lot nicer. The music and atmosphere are very calming as well. The major appeal to this game is the relaxing vibe and the ability to let you creatively express yourself through plants. If you're someone who enjoys gardening and making flower arrangements then this is for you. I do a lot of gardening and love making beautiful arrangements out of my plants. This is like a simplified and dirt free version of doing so. The whole process of creating an effective and beautiful arrangement is captured really well by this game. I play this game in short sessions to make an arrangement or two and come back to it every once in a while. Don't let the low hours in this game fool you because every minute is well spent chilling with the plants and creating an arrangement doesn't take long. I can't recommend this, because it's a mere shadow of it's predecessor flower design 1. And it has no achievements and has not as much funny and fun editability as first part. And that's why in first part I have 6.2 hrs 2 main reasons 1 achievements 2 very funny and fun game to mess around with. And why I have only 70 mins in this second game sequel, because it's so boring and nothing to do compared to first game and not as funny. This is one of few developer PanGuoJun's ( romeosoft's ) games I don't recommend as I own his every game. And you don't earn your new plants as in first part you get them overtime which I don't like. And don't get me wrong this game had some fun and funny moments, but a lot less than first part. Even more first flower design has trading cards and second game doesn't hmm I wonder why + 1 reason why it is weaker than first game. And maybe it's only me, but first game has much better and prettier steam store thumbnail picture. Oh and second game has 4 positive reviews and 2 negative mine included and 6 reviews total. And first game has 41 positive reviews including mine and 22 negative ones so 63 total reviews and mixed rating about same rating as second gam…

A lovely game, it's nice and relaxing. If you like arranging flowers, this niche game is probably perfect for you! Even if not, give it a try, it's only $3 and you might just enjoy it!
