very decent game for just starting our some suggestions I would leave would be to add a mixing guide in the game so you can see what ingredients give what outcomes. I would also suggest general improvements llike having a quick mandatory turtorial before the actual game and being able to click out of placing things down withour having to place it down and then delete it.

Food Facility is a simple factory automation game that I found pretty easy to get into. The main idea is to build a food production line and make everything work as efficiently as possible while dealing with the limited space available. It is not trying to be some huge complicated management simulator, which I actually liked. There is something satisfying about putting a few machines together, watching the ingredients move through the factory and slowly turning a messy setup into something that actually works. The main mechanic is all about the production lines. Droppers provide the ingredients, and then I have to figure out how to move those ingredients through different machines to transform them into food. The Mixer is one example, letting me combine things such as flour and sugar into a dry mix, but there are other machines to discover as I progress. I enjoyed experimenting with the different combinations because the game gives me enough freedom to work things out rather than making every production chain feel completely predetermined. Space management is another part that I think works surprisingly well. The factory area is fairly tight, so I cannot just throw machines down …

I've 100% the achievements in this game, and played through it. And I've found quite a few things I think could be improved upon. First of all, it doesnt press the player into a tutorial so they often miss how the game works and get confused. A simple fix would be to simply guide players towards the tutorial upon the start, rather than leave them to click it on their own, as most players, including myself, either won't pick it up, or won't feel compulsed to check. The recipe book isn't obvious and i spent a lot of time really confused on how to make certian things. The billing notification also appears overtop of the book. Something as simple as labeling the recipe book, making it bigger, and making an option to close the billing notification, or at least moving it off of the recipe book would really improve quality of life. There is also no indication for days passing, meaning passage of time and billing is a forgotten mechanic. There is also no urgency in the game, the contracts are either super easy to fulfill and give a ton of money, or super hard to fulfill and give nothing.
