It's a very cute game and I love the concept but the energy management system is trash. You don't completely refill your energy by sleeping, early consumables give you extremely little energy refill and in order to get better consumables you have to make it pretty far in the mines. There's no visual warning that you are running low on energy unless you are constantly checking your energy bar and when you hit zero you pass out and lose half the the coins you've earned which can be devastating early game. I try to get all of the achievements so I'll probably continue to play this in short spurts until I've gotten everything but if I had known about the energy management issues I wouldn't have bought this game.

ok yes this is early access (real early apparently) there will be spoilers ahead if you dont want to know stop reading. now that being said, this game is an up hill battle right from the get go if you ever played dark souls, this is what would happen if stardew valley had dark souls love child.by that i mean its hard and only gets harder the more you pass out, wich you will be doing a lot.there is no map, sleeping in a bed fills only a part of energy, and everything costs an astronomical amount of silver or gold.you can mostly only make coppers for stuff like selling fish or yes your crops how bad is this? well, if you have done the mission to unlock chickens for sale they sell at 1 gold 18 silver and some odd copper, so you'd need to sell HUNDREDS of fish or crops to make nuff to buy a chicken.what ever you sell goes like this 100 copper coins= 1 silver,100 silver=1 gold. add to that there is no edible stuff to find, you dont get full energy from sleeping nor can you up grade your tools to use less energy, at least not untill you some how get past 5 bosses, and get to cave floor 51, freaking 51! on the pluse side the graphics are nice and there are ways to get past bosses if you tal…

EDIT: having an issue that i cannot feed the chicken. It said to drag it to feeder but i am on controller however also with touchpad it does not work. Built feeder and placed in coop. Bought bird (chicken) feed. Cannot place it. I manage to drag it next to the feeder but when i walk over it i pick it up. Help! Its like an oldschool farming sim with cute graphics and cute animals but a bit basic. Fishing is fun enough and planting and watering crops is alright there needs to be sprinklers tho. maybe a cart shop on the main square in town that sells some random items so you have something to look forward to as in stardew and mistria? Also I lost money for the first time that i worked hard for selling fish. I lost the equivilant of about 12 fish. Not even dark souls has this if you recover your souls. So not sure this should be in at all. Of course you can be careful and watch your energy meter but I dont see too many "modern" players appreciating this either way. Need about 270 wood for a coop so thats about 7 days of just cutting wood. But the game still is good. There could be more to do like have some upgrades to look forward to like sprinklers and fruit trees and other c…

There are many farming sims out there, but this one really caught my attention! I like the characters, especially the bird, so far and I also really like the vastness of it! I think it's so cool to have a sim where you have to build yourself up from just a tent without even any tools! It's a great incentive to explore and gather as much as you can, and I know I'm gonna be doing a lot of that to make sure I have the best farm the world has ever seen!

A very cute game...
Not recommended Nov 22, 2023
So i had to come back to this game to update my thoughts because the last time i played this game was Nov 2023. Well i must say that i should not have wasted my money because this game i still cant get into it. The game takes to long to increase finances and the little money you do get is wasted on passing out due to energy. I don't not understand the purpose of the two different coins it should only be one. What ever manual job that i am doing drains energy quick. Flipping veggies didn't give me a high return bc i couldn't purchased enough to get a high money yield. i also couldnt get far enough into the mine bc i had to exit quick to go to bed or pass out and lose money so i guess i will never make it to the copper. So i have only play this game 8.1 hours Nov 2023 and a 1.2 just in a couple of day says a lot about this game that hour came from restarting the whole game over.
