About Fourtex Jugo
Fourtex Jugo (from the Japanese for "15") is an abstract strategy game with a high degree of difficulty, played on a grid of tiles. Your goal is to optimize each initial layout to beat the target score, and to compete on the leaderboards, or against your personal best score. Progress through each level involves combining three types of particles with each other to ultimately create void. By manipulating the void optimally, you can achieve your goal of meeting or exceeding the target score specified for each particular level, indicating your mastery of that level. For extra challenge, attempt to reach the target score without any particle interaction with the void. You'll need to create your particles and voids at the right times and in the right places to reach your goal.
There are three tiers of playing pieces (14 number particles, 3 more basic particles, and 2 fundamental particles), each of which combine with themselves, following simple rules, to make another particle or, for the fundamental particles, to make a "void."
The voids provide a turn-based limit to game-play, and the strategy aspect for most of the levels in this game involves correctly timing the creation of voids, and the ability to manipulate these void tiles to both make optimal use of them, and avoid having them grab one of your particles.
The ultimate victory in Jugo is to play all levels to 3 stars, which involves beating a certain target score associated with each level, without any particle interaction with the void tiles. The difficulty of this for a particular level ranges from difficult to extremely challenging.
Another goal for winning a level is to get 2 stars by using the voids effectively, to get even higher scores than are usually possible in a perfect game, and compete for highest score.
This game can also be played as a casual game by simply completing a level to get 1 star.
The most basic tier of particles currently are represented with numbered pieces. The Arabic numerals are a widely recognized sequence, used here to help predict a new particle. Combining similar numbered particles creates the particle with the next highest number, up until 15 (which begins the next tier of 3 more basic particles). A second way to combine the numbered particles is to add particles that have a compatible color hue. But for those who think better with numbers, and for accessibility reasons, these color-compatible pairs also add to 15. The pairs of numbers that add to 15 represent the only math that could be necessary or useful in this game.

This is a nice, addictive game with a lot more depth than most matching types of games. It took me a few times playing it to really understand what is happening, but once I understood what I was doing, I found the puzzles to be quite challenging, yet achievable. Unlike most games like this, if you just randomly start matching items, while you can complete a level, you won't be able to hit the target score. It takes more strategy to understand where to start and where to focus to hit the high scores. So if you enjoy a matching type game, but want one with more strategy and planning, you should try Fourtex Jugo. As I said, it took me a few plays to understand what I was really trying to do. Here's what I found out. The goal of the game is to get to a target score for a puzzle. To do this, you'll need to score as many points as you can. You get the most points by making Voids. However, once you make one Void, basically the final stage of the game starts - so you want to hold off making Voids until you are just about ready to finish. Thanks for giving me chance to play this. This game actually fun game because it has new idea about puzzle game. This is my POV as normal buyer. (+) - Colorfull and the music is nice; - Control is easy; - Gameplay makes you silent for thinking. (-) - Annother type of 2048; - Tutorial not really clear; - Need a moment to be understand the game. So far it's a good game, but with this price, I'm not recommend. Fourtex Jugo is a colourful puzzle game where you have to score points by matching numbers and symbols together to win. Although an interesting concept the tutorial is very vague and the game can be quite confusing. However it seems the developers have tried to rectify this by adding tutorial's in the 'extra' section of the game. I did not notice this until much later though after clicking around a little bit as it seems sort of hidden in the game. There is also a campaign mode which consists of hundreds of different levels each with a goal of a different score. A daily mode has also been included which also states that the levels are randomised. Although i can clearly see that the developers have made positive improvements to this game I do not feel that this game is worth the £6.99 price tag that this game has been priced at. At the time of writing this review it is on sale for £1.79 which i think is a very affordable price. I would definitely suggest waiting on a sale for this one. I wouldn't say that this is the best game in the world or the worst game either. It definitely depends on your preference of game. Right up front,the developers approached me to try this game out. I can't recommend it. It's trying to be a game likes Threes or 2048 but it replaces some of the concepts with out-of-the-box thinking and replaces some of the numbers with shapes. "So, it's just trying to do something new? What's wrong with that?" Everything actually. At least in this case. The concepts make no sense. The shapes are confusing. When I pick up a puzzler, I want to know HOW to play it. This one keeps having to remind me because it uses rules that make no sense. So I can't just enjoy playing the game. I spend most of it trying to memorize the rules so I CAN enjoy it, which makes it much less enjoyable. A puzzle game should ALWAYS be easy to learn yet hard to master.
