Fresh Milk For Mars

Fresh Milk for Mars is a sokoban where instead of pushing, you... pull(!?) cows into tractor beams to abduct them! Initially the game doesn't wear its unique mechanics on its sleeve, and comes off as a rather rudimentary sokoban with pulling instead of pushing. However, as the game progresses, it starts adding new mechanics that take advantage of the premise of the player character being an alien spaceship! For example, allowing you to temporarily hover off the stage and pull objects with you and special tiles that you can't move onto but cows and hay bales can! These mechanics are when the more clever level designs start to show up. Not only do these additions help add some neat tricks and clever design space for the game, but much of the finnickiness one might expect from an almost only-pulling sokoban is missing! By adding an extra dimension to move around in, the game removed much of the constraints that make pulling-sokoban frustrating while adding new constraints of its own that make puzzles fun and clever. It is rarely significantly difficult, and admittedly it is rather low-key in what new additions it makes so it can feel a bit on the more mundane side of puzzle games,…

It's a delightful and simple sokoban. The mechanics are fun and the solutions aren't ever too much of a chore. I would say most of the game can be done in 2 sessions and about a handful of levels that are pretty hard.

A fun, 100-level 3D sokoban! There's a good mix of tight precision levels alongside larger, strategic levels. Pacing of new mechanics kept things fresh throughout. I also appreciated the difficulty hints when a level was going to require some sort of setup not previously covered via prior tutorialized mechanics/interactions.

Super fun! A sokoban where you pull items behind your spaceship. There are a lot of clever level designs and a nice difficulty spike in the second half of the game. Would highly recommend!

A fun romp that has surprising depth with how many different items there are and how they all interact.

Game has weirdest stairs I've seen. Good puzzle design. 3 levels have unintended easy solutions that stacking multiple cows in one grind then pull/push to one end portal. BTW wanna taste Meadow's milk.
