From Hell (2024)

I actually really like the scares in the game - the jumpscares are decent and the game is scary, I just cant recommend the flow of gameplay. You get basically SOFT LOCKED if you dont know what to do because its SO DARK - so if you run out of batteries in the first part, its game over, you wont be able to see ANYTHING. Theres no brightness/gamma settings either - its DARK DARK! I generally wanted to finish this but couldnt (skill issue i guess?) due to this huge problem. Consider making the torch last longer, or more batteries in the game.. by the way it is spelled battery not batery.

Very good game, really knows how to keep you on your toes. music is super creepy and the jump scares can make you scream for real. really recommend it if you're looking for something thrilling for a night.

This game is a must play!!

This game and the guest is legit scary. Multiple scares got me and my friends good. I did not enjoy the newest game, insider threat, as much as the guest and from hell. I hope this studio continues to make HORROR games. This dev is getting better with their games. I hope eventually they will be able to perfect their craft and make a true scary horror experience and eventually get to a point where they can create a world with tons of optional exploitable areas with tons of puzzles and secrets rather then linear. This game was GREAT! Can't wait for their next horror game.

Just got this game and i am loving it so far. I can tell that the devs really made a lot of improvements since their last game The Guest. I loved the guest but this game so far is a lot better. There are save points and sprinting. In the guest you could only sprint at certain times. On From Hell, you can sprint at anytime. You can also interact with more objects than you could in the guest. Great Job devs for all of the improvements and just like the guest this game is playable on the steam deck. For future games that you guys make, please keep the same control layout and mechanics and you'll forever have a customer in me. Great job guys.

acttually i was liking the game it was really scary and good and and even the viewers liked it but then the game glitched and i wanted to open the game again and tapped continue it took me to the start of the game i mean WTHHH?????? bruhhh the game says saving game game saved and all of that was bullsht?? thhis is really sad i mean the easiest thing in a game is to have the save files and stuff, really disappointed and wasted all that time to just start again from the start of the game ,,,, if only i had some power and did the things that were in my mind...paejksjldnhlaksjfcl;adsmcv;lkasdjmfvc;lasdn kjl.;lfcnsd
