a fun indie puzzle/combat game who has a surprising amount of narrative for what I thought would be just a puzzle game. It's got a compoundingly compelling narrative, good character writing, really unique handpainted art style, and thematically vibey music which kept me around to see how the story unfolded and I started to connect with some of the characters. Everything feels cohesive and I appreciate the depth the game goes to with connecting gameplay mechanics with the worlds lore. I really enjoyed throwing on my headphones, going non-verbal, and just immersing myself in the narrative and puzzles. Honestly would be willing to pay for this, but since its free there's no reason not to try it out! ^_^5 found this helpful
I JUST randomly found this game on Twitter and ??? why am I actually OBSESSED 😭 First of all, I’m not even a tower defense player like AT ALL, but this?? This hit so different. The whole post-apocalyptic world with androids roaming around is already insane, but the fact that it’s inspired by ITZY (Girls Will Be Girls + Imaginary Friend???) makes it feel SO much better. It gives that “end of the world but you’re still fighting with your girls” energy and I LOVE THAT. AND THE ART STYLE??? HELLO??? It’s SO GOOD. I would honestly play this just for the visuals alone. Even though it’s grid-based and tactical, I still appreciate it (which is saying a lot because again… I don’t play tower defense 😭). The concept + art carried it so hard for me, and now I actually appreciate the gameplay too. This is literally one of those games where you can tell the creator had a strong vision and executed it so well. It feels like a passion project inspired by ITZY and I’m just 😭💖 If you love ITZY, aesthetic games, or just really cool concepts, PLEASE check this out. Even if you’re not into tower defense, it’s still worth it.3 found this helpful
Downloaded this out of curiosity because of the ITZY inspiration, and honestly, I wasn't expecting much from a free indie game. I was completely wrong. This isn't just a casual game with cute androids it's a seriously punishing tactical grid battler. The tower defense mechanics require you to actually use your brain. One bad placement in the arena and your run is dead. The mix of a post-apocalyptic wasteland setting with k-pop vibes is a weird combo, but it somehow works perfectly. It’s great for short 15-20 minute sessions when you want something challenging. Considering it's 100% free, it's definitely worth checking out if you like strategy games.3 found this helpful
I love it so much ! It's well written, drawn, and I discover a fantastic K-pop group thanks to that ! :D That being said, the game spends a lost of time on tutorial ; 18 missions in, 2 hours of playtime, and I still have tutorials. More freedom and trust toward the player would go a long way.3 found this helpful
i'm not usually a tower defense enjoyer but seeing someone making a game based on ITZY and two of their songs is something i definitely do not see everyday (not to mention it's free) so why not right? the story is interesting so far, but i didn't play very far at the moment - was hoping to see how it is before i dive in deep. shame that it's in tower defense really, but i'll probably try to push through to see at least enough of what this game offers. sound effects are okay, although you might want to adjust the volume in some of them. during the introduction, there was a high pitch tone that was a bit loud for me but i wasn't sure if its an issue on my side volume wise. art is definitely phenomenal! you captured the likeness of the girls well in my opinion, and it does fit with the theme this game is going for. 화이팅, developer!! i like what's in here so far, plan to test this on the steam deck as well for fun later on! (also im not sure why it says 0.2 hours - i swore i spent a long time on one level trying to meet yeji's bonus requirement of killing a certain number of bears... i keep failing lol)2 found this helpful
