あらすじ
1935年 ある秋のこと・・・
仕事へ向かう道中、腹痛に見舞われ
Ｔ県のある診療所に入院していたアナタは、
町人たちとの会話から《探偵》であると勘違いされていた。
無事退院し町を去ろうとしたとき、
ある少女が息を荒げてアナタに声をかける。
「助けてください！」
「人が・・・殺されたんです！」
アナタは導かれるまま、
事件のあったという《星影の館》へやってくる。
被害者は密室で死亡していた。
アナタは事件性があると推測するが、
家の者たちは不慮の事故だと思いこみ、
死体を早々に片づけようとしている。
だが、少女はあくまで《殺人事件》を主張した。
彼女の元に、差出人不明の
《手紙》が届いていたからだ。
《この事件は人為的なものである》
《ただちに現場を保存し、診療所の探偵を頼れ》
《さもなくば・・・》
《新たな 死者 が出るでろう》
アナタは素人ながらも、
現場や関係者から情報を集め、
複雑に絡み合った事件の謎を解きほぐしていく。

星影の館殺人事件 is not a game, it's an e-book that's been dumped on Steam masquerading as a game. As a visual/interactive novel, this doesn't feature any notable gameplay, it's just a lot of clicking through badly written dialogue that would never have been accepted or published in print, which poses the question, "How did something this badly written end up on Steam?". When someone hoping to become an author is unable to get published in print, they spend $100 and dump their high school fan-fiction onto Steam, under the guise of a game. This Japanese e-book is an adventure mystery novel set in the last century... it's badly written, a little cringey, and pretty typical for what you expect from failed authors using e-book construction kits so they can push their books onto Steam as if they were games (books are not games). In this case it's TyranoBuilder instead of Ren'Py... it's equally garbage. I'm here for video games. Visual novels/e-books are tedious at best... imagine the best novel you ever read, be that Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy or 2001: A Space Odyssey or Twilight (if you have terrible taste in literature), but then translate that to a format where the words dribble o…1 found this helpful
프리 게임이라고는 상상도 못할 정도의 장대한 이야기에 놀랐습니다. I was surprised by the epic story that I couldn't even imagine playing a free game. フリーゲームとは想像もできないほどの壮大な話に驚きました。
