Your adventure takes place on a vast continent inspired by medieval Europe, Japan, and China, in a world is governed by the four forces of Order, Chaos, Good, and Evil. Your actions will affect the balance of these forces and the future of this world.
Visit the inn, select your quest and begin your unfettered adventure. Choose simple tasks like shopping, delivery or escort, or walk a different path with missions such as extermination and smuggling. Depending on how you choose to live, you could become a great hero or a great villain, saving the world from darkness or helping to destroy it.
This game is only available in Japanese.

Steamdeck can run this game, but there are two problems: 1. when play music it will hang when music switch to the next one, disable the music will "solve" this hang problem; 2. Steamdeck can not switch between multiple windows(has some issue) and it has poor experiences when some windows size displayed improperly. The game runs good under desktop mode on Steamdeck, that's awesome!5 found this helpful
This JRPG that reminds me of the Ultima series, the strategy and complexity of the systems working in the background really impressed me. I've been having a lot of fun with it, and fortunately there is an English translation pack that makes this accessible outside of Japan. Recommend! If you're planning to play this game in English, you need a patch which is simple to install. This is an old-school JRPG, and it's a good way to get into these older style of games. It's not too hard and not too slow, but take your time if you do play it.1 found this helpful
The UI and aesthetic here is delightful. While I understand the appeal to a game like this, the end result here is a little too aimless for me. Games with a similar freeform approach like Daggerfall or Mordor: The Depths of Dejenol give you a strong sense of progression and facilitate setting compelling goals for yourself as you play. This feels very "make number go up" in comparison and I have a hard time sticking to it, particularly when I'm having to interpret the machine translation at every turn. Critiques aside, if you're looking for an endearing RPG sim to sink into and don't mind making your own way, this is far from a bad choice, but there are certainly better options available.
