In almost every culture, the number 7 is special. There are 7 Days of the Week, 7 Notes on the Musical Scale, and 7 Colors in Light.
'Seven' is an original two-player turn-based game. As most games today are either simplistic “gobble-up” arcade games, “shoot-’em-up” war games, or hours-long fantasy games, Seven -- like Chess, Checkers, and Backgammon -- challenges the intellect, yet also uses that special number 7 in an entirely new way.
This includes:
- 7 by 7 board.
- 7 pieces (angels) per player.
- 7 movement spaces per turn.
- 77 seconds per turn.
- 3 dice per turn, with combinations totaling 7.
- Play vs AI.
- Play vs a random human.
- Play vs friend.
- Worldwide leaderboard.
- Full cross-platform support (Windows, macOS, Android, iOS).
To win: capture the four Gates Of Heaven or banish four of your opponent pieces to the Sheol (dungeon for angels).

Not easy to win the AI at first, but when you get the basic concept of playing this game, it becomes much easier. It's basically a brand new board game, turn based of course, and for two players. The neat thing about it is that you can have the game on an Android or iOS device as well, and log in to the same player account from there. This makes the game completely cross-platform, and for this kind of casual game I think it's a must. By the way, the recorded play time above is just on Steam, I have played on Android much more before. If you like Backgammon or Chess, you'll definitely like this one, if you give it some time to grow on you. I hope that over time there will be more players online so that human vs. human games would be possible.1 found this helpful
Great board game, takes 2-3 games but after that it's a lot of fun and a mini game when you don't have a lot of time.
