Unplayable. It forces you to the Ubisoft whatever launcher where you are met with endless Capchas and never get access to the game. UBI-SCAM!1 found this helpful
The last addition to HoM&M series before the long hiatus until Olden Era release earlier this year. It's not a terrible game and frankly campaigns are quite easy to go through (albeit time consuming) however if you're thinking you're going to buy this game to get in the mood before trying out Olden Era - then think again! It is practicaly impossible to play this game. The game freezes on startup before the intro plays and despite all possible fixes I was able to look up online, it did not fix the problem on my system - and seemingly I am not the only one. The only reliable fix is starting up Ubisoft Connect, disconnect your internet, start the game despite 3 prompts how you should re-connect, and only then once you're past intros - turn the internet back on. However starting the game in offline mode severely disables main menu - your online profile pretty much does not exist as your main menu is a skeleton version with basics. Outside this game breaking fault which Ubisoft never bothered to fix, game has some glitches - especially during the second DLC Trials by Fire, where units during siege inside the castle cannot leave, even if enemy destroys the gate / walls. Other times, …
fun stratehy game
So many bugs, you will need the famous mod 7,5 to make it playable
The game keeps breaking. Great visual artists can't save incompetent programmers. 0/10 would not play again.
The basic gist is a reuinion, and after 30 years, it says a new game hasn't been engirneered for 10 years, and that is awesome in itself, I mean in a whiskey drunk priesthood, aver the status of a reunion with 20 years ago, even 25 years ago, and the lines aren't blurred. Great then, great now. I mean, I ran off into the streets and drank the whole bottle of cougar.
