Gardener: Master of Trees and Flowers

Okay soooo i generally don't do reviews but after reading the top review and the dude being so against this game i wanted to try it out and see what all he was going on about. 1) the bugs really aren't as bad as he's saying? i was expected to be swarmed with as he calls them "Roaches" in the game. i didn't in fact i seen none except at the very beginning when i spawned in, as for the rest of his mumbo jumbo i feel like somebody $h!t in his cheerios because the game really ain't as bad as he's making it out to be. I'm a fairly impatient person and yet i even understand the concept of early access. with that the game does have some of its flaws i will point them out but nothing as horrendously game breaking like the one dude was claiming. and these are just my personal opinions I'm not a game dev, but i know alot goes into making a game regardless of how simple or complex one is each game is a vision and a work of art for the person who made it all i can do is offer my opinion on what i like and dislike about a game and if the devs see it and agree then thats their choice. 1) The grass growth is crazy though it appeases my OCD to use the scyth to cut it, it growing back the next …

Wow. I got the key for this game for very little money on an external site and I'm MORE THAN GLAD for that. At !!20!! bucks asking price, the game is a joke. - The UI is hard on the eyes (Colour scheme, font size, explanations for settings) - The controls are janky (seriously? Open the tool menu and click on an X just to unequip? No toolchanges via scrolling?) - The tutorialization is obtuse - The gameplay loop is, so far, literally non-existent. Just... dig hole, plant seed, water, hope to god you're not making any other flowers wilt as you "channel" energy to make the plants grow... rinse and repeat. - YOU CAN NOT EVEN TURN OFF ROACHES. Seriously? Who puts roaches in a game and doesn't even make them optional? House Flipper could do that and that came out ages ago. Half an hour was all I could take. If they don't give this a serious overhaul, this one's yet another bust. If you're looking for a good gardening game - Garden Story has you covered. Deceptively deep nature sim. I dream of a game one day with a full ranch or property with this level of simulation. If you know you know. Sure something are still a work in progress, but the magic is there and that's a rare and special thing. Maybe just wondering if I'm reading the tests/using the fertilizer wrong or my that part isn't active or properly explained yet? Regardless can't wait to play more. I played for 5 hours, tediously tending to the plants in the game and leveling up to level 6. I saved and quit to go eat dinner, and when I tried to load the game, I kept getting an error. It recommended I close the game and restart my computer, so I did. When I loaded the game upon restart, all of my save was gone, and it kept trying to start me back over at level 1. I tried to email the creater, but kept getting a delivery message saying the address wasn't found. I got the email from the game page on steam, and tried to send the email twice. That was a lot of tedious work, and I even created different flowers as I played so I could level up more. It was a waste of money and time just to lose it all after the game kept crashing. Steam will not refund because I played more than 2 hours. if there is a way to get my other save back, I would change my review.

great ideas. cool game but not without its issues, wait for more updates as of right now but if you want to support the dev, join his discord server and buy the game to help with its development. Great communication so far. I am having alot of fun with it this review may or may not change as development progresses but as of right now, I can recommend.
