Genome Guardian 2

This is the type of game that makes other games redundant. I don't think I'm ever going to use the word perfect in reference to a game unless it's this game here.

have you ever wanted to piece together an absolutely wicked build idea with the pieces you've grabbed? probably? well this is the game for you! loads of different parts, mechanics and gimmicks to build around and primarily focus on in this game... i find a lot of the fun here to be messing around and tinkering with all the parts that modify your bullets and such

An absolute blast of a rougelite with so many fun ways to make your screen a lot of pretty colors

Straightforward twin-stick roguelite with loads of combinations for equipment and their effects. Has quite an amount of options for adjusting the game to taste. You can even turn it into a Survivors-like with separate options for auto-aim AND auto-fire. It's like Crimsonland and Brotato had a baby. Killing things without interruption, mess with your build inbetween waves. Some "characters" can't move while others are quite mobile in their own ways. There's metaprogression in two different ways. 1) Incremental changes such as + damage, accuracy, more rerolls, etc. And 2) Parts to permanently unlock that you can toy around with. This can get rather intricate, so they've even included a generous loadout system with a ton of save slots. You can disable the screen shaking and vibrations or even turn it all the way up. It's quite trippy and gets you in a groove, though can be a little bit of an eyestrain over lengthy play.

If you're like, "man, I wish I could capture the magic of games like Centipede or Space Invaders but with all the bells and whistles of modernity and basically infinite replayability through both roguelite progression and just sheer volume of things to do" -- you're home. Install. Thank us all later in the Discord. If you're not thinking that, I ... hunh. I guess you're too young to remember Centipede and Space Invaders? That's adorable. Buy this game, it's, uh... it's like if Geometry Dash took the drugs your parents keep telling you are bad. Which, like, don't do those, they're bad. But this game isn't? Yeah.
