"GEOTRA" is an incredibly lame ripoff of Geometry Wars, a GameMaker Studio based twin stick shooter with deliberately bad graphics, and no compelling reasong for people to want to play it. The game features really lacklustre 2D visuals (does the developer not know 3D graphics became mainstream in the mid-1990s?). Gamers don't spend thousands of dollars on gaming rigs to pretend they're mobile phones or Commodore 64s. Not every "free" game really is. There's often MTX, or content locked behind DLC, or donations being requested, or any other number of things that could mislead gamers, but in this case I'm glad to say this really does appear to be a fully free game. Nothing demonstrates a developers belief in themselves and their work than giving it away without any remuneration. This is a service to themselves, and the gaming industry, and should be applauded. Of course, just because something is free, doesn't necessarily mean it's valuable. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 3 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Be…1 found this helpful

hard as heck but very fun
THIS GAME IS FREE. i honestly cannot believe this game isnt atleast $0.99. this game is hands down one of the greatest free steam games ever. you get an action-packed shooter game with a full on skill tree and different classes. there's a lot of strategy involved, aswell as some skill. this game honestly had me stumped experimenting to get past some stages. it fits quite a lot of playstyles and is so fun when you're obliterating enemies. i could see myself playing this as much as some games i paid for.
I hesitate to give this game a bad review because at the VERY LEAST you do move pretty quick by default. But I found some of the enemy types more annoying than interesting and didn't feel like playing a second round. I also found the time between waves annoying - just pop up the upgrade screen between waves and start the next wave as soon as I close it.
