Get Out! Snakes!

Get Out! Snakes! is the nostalgic snake game in reverse, where you aren't the snake but the food! You are a red apple and you need to collect the other apples that randomly appear on the screen before the snake does. Sounds easy, but sometimes the snake is closer to it than you are, and you need to be careful because the snake can eat you too. The game has 5 different stages, each with 5 levels that get harder as you progress. There are also items and teleports in the map that can give you the advantage, but can also get you killed. I didn't like the controls and I didn't really enjoy playing the game either. I noticed that every person in the reviews are reviewing the same games which looks very suspicious to me!

A fun little game that is pretty good for 1$ and a steal on sale. For the idea I think they did a pretty good job and added a couple cool extra buffs and "items" and extra maps as well.

I really liked how the devs brought a new vision to the classic snake game. The soundtrack is really fun and the gameplay is addictive (I love the portals !!). The only point I would like it to be a little better is the user interface, there is a lot of text everywhere, so I was confused at first. Anyway, congrats on the game!

Some of the music is not bad. The rest of the game is not very enjoyable - just pick up x number of apples before a snake does for 90 seconds, and repeat that for all other levels with basically no mechanical difference. The gameplay loop lasts for about 1 hour, but gets boring after 2 minutes. Local multiplayer works, but does not change the game. 100% boils down to beating all 25 levels in singleplayer and multiplayer mode (in 1 sitting, preferably). It may not take too long, but it's not very fun.

A snake game inverted. Nostalgic and well elaborated. Good fun to play with friends!
