About Ghost Files 2: Memory of a Crime
They say a good story begins with an earthquake and works its way up to a climax.
The story of Arthur Christie begins with a painful wake up in a dark basement with an unknown murder victim and memory gaps larger than bullet holes. A moment later the building is surrounded by howling police sirens. And all this before the sun even reached noon.
The day began lousy and chances for improvement are slim - so now he has to start his own investigation and prove his innocence. For this detective Christie will need to recreate his lost memories and immerse himself in the dark reality of a serial killer called The Executioner.
Who can you trust when the police are tailing you and following the evidence only raises further questions? What kind of important information has been forgotten? Who's face is it behind the Executioner's mask?

The game works, the puzzles are pretty good, and I had fun with the insane amount of secret rooms you find/get stuck in, so I'll recommend it. This is also one of the rare hidden object games to have a male protagonist, which is always neat. And the murderer having a proper goal and motives was nice, I'm not used to that in hidden object games. Were the motives forced and very over dramatic? Yes, but still, credit where credit is due. The problems I do have, as ever, come from the story itself. I appreciate wanting to make a tangled web of intrigue and mystery, but you have to be able to flesh it out properly, not just whizz through your barely explained set-piece murders like you have somewhere more interesting to be. The whole thing with the police chasing you feels forced and was completely unnessicary, because the only real purpose it serves is to get you, a detective, inside a police station. Yes, that's it.2 found this helpful
I'm on a hidden object game kick at the moment (gaming laziness) but they can be samey... and this one breaks the mould nicely by crossing over with detectorist-ness, hammy B-movie plot, acting and story, and plenty of gameplay twists along the way. Not telling you what you're searching for just giving a silhouette? UNTHINKABLE! Incorrigible. Unconscionable. Wrong-think. But actually, nah, the devs and publishers of this (these) games have found an interesting twist to elevate your bog standard hog to a story-driven thriller where even the puzzles are a bit different. Wouldn't have found this one without a friend (thanks, bud!) but it looks the the Nightmares of the Deep series straight in the eyes and asks just one thing... Hold. My. Beer. Amazing story and very real characters! Interesting puzzles and different styles. It is fun looking for collectables. One of my favourite HOG!1 found this helpful
excellent
Ghost Files 2 Memory of a Crime is far superior to Ghost Files 1 in my opinion. Ghost Files 2 is a solid hidden object puzzle adventure game with well designed puzzles and interesting gameplay that kept me hooked from the beginning to the end. The entire experience is excellent quality in my opinion. I really enjoyed the settings and story as well. This is definitely one of my all time favorite HOPA games and I will most assuredly replay it again at some point. There is even a nice bonus chapter that unlocks after you have completed the main story. I highly recommend this game if you are into hidden object adventure games.
This game was good I will be recommending it
