I just have to say… what an absolute masterpiece of experimental game design. From the very first launch, you’re greeted with a menu screen that bravely challenges modern UI conventions. Who needs over-polished triple-A interfaces when you can have a raw, authentic experience that keeps you guessing whether you clicked the right button? That’s immersion. The graphics? Bold. Fearless. The textures have this nostalgic, almost avant-garde minimalism that really lets your imagination do the heavy lifting. Some might call it “unfinished,” but I call it “artistically open-ended.” It’s basically interactive abstract horror. The AI is particularly revolutionary. The ghosts don’t just follow predictable patterns — they seem to exist in a higher plane of chaotic consciousness. Sometimes they notice you. Sometimes they don’t. Sometimes they phase through walls like they’re questioning the very concept of physics. True next-gen behavior. Performance-wise, the occasional stutter really enhances the tension.
Warning: Asset Flip! Ghost Hunters is a Digital Homicide style asset flip, or what Valve calls a "Fake Game". The "developer" paid for/pirated a few Unity asset store assets, dumped them all in a blender, and submitted it to Valve as if they're real game developers.
Two notable criteria for what makes an asset flip instead of legitimate use of stock assets are whether those assets comprise the majority of the game, and whether the "developer" properly credited the people who created most of the assets in the game. This game fails both of those tests. The "developers" here didn't credit any of the artists and real, actual game developers who created the assets here, so this is plagiarism, as well as cash grab shovelware. In this case, the asset flipper took a bunch of generic Unity suburban assets and slapped them together to try cash in on the "co-op ghost hunting" craze (that was never a craze). This is just another Russian get-rich-quick-from-Steam asset flip scam. The game was never completed, but that was never the intention, the intention was to get your money for other people's Unity assets. It h…2 found this helpful

Ghost Hunters, developed and published by FAILOT GAMES, is a cooperative paranormal investigation game that attempts to blend light horror elements with accessible multiplayer action. The premise places players in the role of ghost-hunting contractors who accept jobs to investigate haunted locations, eliminate supernatural threats, and earn money to upgrade their equipment. On paper, the concept taps into a popular genre formula—exploring eerie environments with friends while uncovering and confronting paranormal activity. However, while the foundation is familiar and potentially engaging, the execution ultimately determines how well the experience holds together. The gameplay structure revolves around selecting contracts and entering haunted maps, typically houses or enclosed environments where paranormal disturbances have been reported. Players can team up in online co-op sessions, with up to four participants working together to complete objectives. These tasks often involve investigating signs of ghostly presence, using equipment to identify supernatural entities, and fulfilling mission-specific goals before extracting. The loop is straightforward: accept a mission, complete o…1 found this helpful
