Ghost Frequency

If you want a better game from this developer. I would recommend BrokenLore: Don't watch. Very fun play. This one is a big NO. Too short even for the price. I've play dollar games with more story than this. No real substance. The gameplay had potential, but it seem like they had an idea, they place it together and then moved on to the next thing. It just feels like a demo.

For starters, this game definitely felt like it had a lot of promise in the first half. I found myself looking forward to seeing where the paranormal investigation was going to take us. Unfortunately, everything that was good in the first half was no where to be found in the later part of the game. Just my opinion, but it felt like halfway through the game the developers just wanted to be done with it and fast tracked the ending so they could get it over with. Funny enough, the concept of how they wanted to end the game was actually a pretty good idea. It was really the execution of it that just felt off. Ghost Frequency had a lot going for it with the ghost hunting aspects of the game. The controls felt smooth and the audio and visuals were really well done that immersed me into this world. However, after the ghost hunting parts, the player is this forced into a chase sequence that took me completely out of the game filled me with so much frustration that I could not finish the game. I gave Ghost Frequency a 2/5. My rating system: 1 = Horrible game. Don't even look at it. 2 = Bad game. 3 = Average. Its neither good nor bad. 4 = Worth Playing. 5 = Must play!

Game is short and the last bit with the ghost is kinda meh as you'll fail a bunch before you get what you have to do. Luckily other than a checkpoint restart you don't get a penalty. Game relies heavily on sound ambiance and jump scares to set the tone. its pretty good for what it is.

Coming from PIT GAMES' last game - Broken Lore: Don't Watch - this was a huge let down. AI voices, pointless and slow gameplay, and a frustrating ending "boss fight". This game was NOT it lol
