if you want to give Gimel Dimension a try, first completely forget its pastel color delicacy. color palette is your worst enemy, but you defend yourself with bombs made of white. music well fits, good craft, awesome idea. hella difficult, also.

I bought this game with good hopes. But sad to say, it was worse than I had expected. Sure the game is 0.79 cents, but that does not mean a game has to be bad. The game has certainly some pros and cons. The pros being that: - Playing with your mouse enhances movement big time, and a love that aspect. - The music is a 10/10. - The overall thought of design is cool: nice shapes etc. Cons: - The graphics are so bad, that you can't really see any of the bullets you are shooting. - 9/10 times you cannot see what bullets are coming towards you, because the bullets or enemies match the background 100%. - The game is so bare, there are no settings, no info, nothing. Even though this game is 0.79 cents, I am not tempted the slightest to pick up the game again. Which is really sad, because with some tweaking, the game could really be so much better.

A waste of time. Interesting experiment but awful execution. Enemy bullets blend with the background so you need to dodge and move to a background with a different color where you can actually see them. The whole idea falls apart immediately when you get all three colors at the same time and you're flying blind into them.

I would only recommend this for advanced bullet hell players who welcome an additional challenge (or non-advanced players who don't mind the challenge). I myself am a bullet hell games rookie -- I like the concept, but don't play them often -- and I had gone for this game thinking it would be a casual-fun shooter due to its pastel themes, but it definitely deserves its Difficult tag. Reviews that say that the bullets are essentially invisible are all correct. But rather than a negative point, I believe this is the exact feature/difficulty that Gimel Dimension was built on and intended for. As a rookie, I finally beat the game with the red ship, so it definitely is possible for an average player, but your mileage may vary on the enjoyment factor. Because bullets get cloaked when they blend into the background, the game challenges your peripheral vision / flash photo memory (if you know what I mean) / placement planning on top of, well, bullet hell. Note: the bullet hells come mostly near the final couple of stages. Earlier stages play more like casual side-scrolling shooters, but you'll still die from invisible bullets if you get careless. Sometimes, going after Cells (i.e. curr…
