I decided to 100% a game and this was the game I chose after looking through a few of the games in my library. It took me one hour to 100% the game. The game consists of 3 worlds, 5 levels for world 1, and 1 level for world 2, and another 1 level for world 3. After going through it once, you do it all again, but with more guns and more difficulty. Each world has its own song and they all fit the world pretty good I would say. My favorite track of the three was world 2's, a coconut vibe-y song. The game's tracks and level design all scream retro, including the way you can kind of go into some blocks and get a better shot in, so, just like old games, it pays to just go everywhere and run up against everything. During my hour of gameplay, I noticed two weird/annoying things. 1 - The game is in a small window and often while clicking for shooting, the game seems to like... lose control of reining in the mouse to only within the game and the game minimizes. I died a few times having this happen at inopportune times. 2 - The game has a propensity to go "Let's absolutely dunk on this chump" and spawn you into a horrible situation, surrounded by bandits, which can often get you unfairly …20 found this helpful
Feel like a real cowboy in this 2D shooter! The game is very simple, but addictive until you get to the end by killing the final boss.20 found this helpful
Go, Go Cowboy is a compact, arcade-inspired action game that wears its retro influences proudly and focuses on delivering fast, uncomplicated gunplay in a stylized Wild West setting. Developed and published by PhoenixFire Games, it places players in the role of a lone lawman facing overwhelming odds, emphasizing quick reactions, constant movement, and the satisfaction of clearing rooms full of enemies rather than deep systems or narrative complexity. From the first moments, the game makes its intentions clear: this is a pick-up-and-play shooter built for short, intense bursts of action. The core gameplay revolves around top-down, twin-stick-style shooting where enemies approach from multiple directions and pressure mounts rapidly. Movement and positioning are crucial, as standing still for too long often leads to being surrounded. Weapons are simple but effective, with the revolver forming the backbone of combat early on and more powerful options gradually becoming available. Shooting feels immediate and responsive, and while the mechanics are not layered with advanced abilities or modifiers, they are tuned to keep the pace brisk and the challenge persistent. BLUF: For fifty cents,I do not recommend this game. But why…? I don’t expect a masterpiece from the X<50 cent category but this game was just… bland. Looking at it’s game play and art it’s clearly inspired by and is legally distinct from Enter the Gungeon but executed without the rogue-like elements or weapons customization elements. However, what really sucks any enjoyment out of it is the slow pace of the AI. Time spent waiting of a single AI to fire is enough to clear an entire room of AI. Because of this I was able to first clear the game in about ten minuets. The continuation mode of this game is to rehash the same levels with more AI and a different gun. At this point, I bailed. I don’t recommend this ride. (This game was featured on 50¢ Roulette. Twitch Himboengineeringco)
A cool extraordinary game in the style of sega. I love the wild west theme, so I really like this game XD
