Devs don't really care about this game. There are tons of bugs inside the game and few of them were fixed and mostly of it are not important at all. Like...change the name of card were prioritize instead of units movement bug. Seriously?..... Athena, monkey general and some units won't move forward after summon and that bug are still not fixed until today. Standard Edition description are not correct at all. It said 5 legendary cards including apollo but after patch 0.8.4.2 there is no still apollo available at all. Not to mention there are 2 copy of athena cards bug appear after other bug were fixed...WTF!? So don't buy this DLC unless you want to donate this game. About legendary drop rate it's veryyyyy low. Right now Athena has the highest drop rate amongs other legendary card. Why? Because there 2 fking different version of hers. I got like 10 of her cards after 2k gems opening. Diana and monkey king only drop once and Ares NEVER drop. Yeah Ares are bugged that he never drop doesn't matter how much gems you spent for opening and when i ask for the screenshot of ares drop, well....they don't have it cuz he can't be drop. Card collecting to form your army, while following the fabled storylines of your characters journey though the distinctive maps which make up the small battlefields where you will fight to gain exp and upgrades to your collection. Although some maps can be very tight for your different types to place, they will push themselves into place as the cards become available thru mana growth, and you grab and put them on the battlefield. Cards have varing tendicies, some will charge ahead, others slowly march forward, and others will hold back to protect a hero (your character) on the map, whose death will cause an immediate loss. You dont control them, just their placement origionally on the battlemap. You can have rogue cards that when put down will only go after the oppositions hero if possible. Some card creatures are humanoid giants, sea monsters, archers, spearmen, or monkey heros, and also fabled monsters, like harpies and medusa, and many are animals like lions and elephants, magical to imaginary, there are lots to collect. Its a fun game and has lots a replayabilaty, hopefully the A.I. of your cards will shine a bit better, but overall its quite good. mobile lines show heavil…

"Gods and Kings" is an abandoned attempt at making a medieval/fantasy RTS/card battler hybrid, which might have a lot of promise, but the way the developer has misleadingly priced this product to scam gamers, and the way they abandoned it almost immediately after launch (presumably without refunding anyone naive enough to pay for the full game) should be enough to warn gamers away from this bug riddled, incomplete and abandoned product. The developers abandoned this 5 years and 11 months ago. It will never be completed. This unfinished game is just polluting Steam and making it harder for gamers to find genuinely, completely made games. The graphics in this game are passable, but could be better. And while it's vital for any game to have impressive visuals (gaming is a visual medium, after all), there's more to a game than just the graphics. To be worth a gamers time, the game must match top tier visuals with top tier gameplay, and that's not happening here. On pricing and value for gamers, this isn't really free as you're expected to pay up more money to unlock content/DLC so you can keep playing.
