Found this game through AGDQ 2025 and accidentally fell in love with it. If you're a fan of games like A Simple Fish Adventure or I Am Bread, you will definitely find yourself going "I'm so close to beating it, I can't quit now!" This game is by no means a masterpiece, but it is challenging and once you get the hang of slinging grandma around, you can do some fun tricks. Took me about 27 hours to beat the game. Figured I'd offer some feedback too while I'm here: - Add a simple golf scoring system - I could see people competing for a low stroke count and having fun with that. - Add a checkpoint System - For the much longer courses. I really only needed this for the courses that went over 25 par, particularly the final course, level 30. It just gets harder to memorize how to complete the course. - Variety of traps close to the hole - Once you get to a certain point, you've basically won the level. I kept expecting the dev to pull a trick like moving the hole or blocking it or some other obstacle, but it was always fairly straight forward. - Variety of course shapes - They were mostly either a straight away or a long L shape. Would have been neat to see some more varieties in heig…10 found this helpful

I got introduced to this game at SGDQ (Summer Games Done Quick) and now I can't stop speedrunning it. When do we get the sequel, Golf With Your Grandfather?3 found this helpful
It's a terrible game in the best way for the first 8 or so holes, but after that the par starts doubling and the shots you need to make become very precise, which is a horrific combination for a game like this with slow floaty physics. One buggy bounce now costs you several minutes of actual real time, which means the time to beat a hole goes up exponentially. I was beating a hole about every 5 minutes, but holes 9/10 jump to being like 20+ minutes each. Looking at level data I can see it only gets worse, with hole 30 going up to par 35.3 found this helpful
